Detail Recount of a Legend Gone far TOO Soon.
I was really sad to hear about Kobe's passing, which send a shockwave throughout LA and the world. Geoffrey recounts Kobe's life and achievements in chronological order in this book, and back it up with a lot of numbers and dates. It’s clearly written by a fan and I’ve learned a lot reading this, even though I’ve known a lot about the topic already. For that I will have to commend the author on a well researched book.I wouldn’t recommend this for a reader looking for a evening pick-me-up nor for readers coming to know Kobe for the first time. The writing do get dry at times, it might not be the best book for these readers. Nevertheless, there’s no shortage of books for basketball aficionados. The Mamba is dead, but still you can still learn a lot from Kobe. For readers who are unfamiliar with Kobe, his documentaries call “Muse” (ps it’s not about basketball) is a nice one.

Just 64-pages long!
I've not even opened the book yet as it was delivered today, but 64-pages long is nothing! Can't remember any mention in the on-line description that I'd be paying so much for the shortest book I think I've ever bought. Not value for money at all.

I enjoyed the info about Kobe but …
Kobe was amazing and there was a lot of information here but there were several grammatical errors and typos that made me lose interest quite a bit.“He was in talks with Chicago Bull” and commas in between a name ruined the flow. There was a lot of repetitive stuff too. Kobe knew how to handle criticisms because it motivated him. He was motivated by criticisms because it made him better. I know, I just read that 3 times.
