Works well over drain. I use this to prevent the water from leaking during bath time for my toddler. The seal we have doesn't hold the water in the tub so it slowly leaks out during a bath. This works perfectly in helping the water stay in the tub for the entire duration of the bath. If you put this over the drain hole while it's first filling up with water, it shifts away from the drain from the pressure of the water moving it but if you put it back after the tub fills a bit, it stays the entire time. The little suction cup is great for air drying the stopper and then I put it away so it doesn't develop mold in the bath tub area. Very happy with this!

Good materials, works as expected
This is only 1 stopper, not 2. The first image on Amazon shows 2 (whereas some similar products only have 1 shown on the primary image), so I was expecting to get 2 of them. My mistake, of course, and not a big deal.That said, this is a great product for low price. Doesn't feel cheap at all, and it stopped the water in my bathtub by just tossing it over the drain. The weight of water holds it in place, and the little tab actually sits up a little so it's easy to grab when you want to drain the water.

The tab doesn’t work
Blocks the drain just fine but if you plan on using the tab to store it on the wall that piece doesn’t work at all. Not even a little bit

Works well when you are taking a bath but the little suction at the top sucks and it doesnt stay suctioned to the side of my tub.

actually holds the water in an old tub!
I've tried and failed a few bathtub stoppers in my old bathtub and this is the first to actually hold the water. When you first start the water, you have to hold this one in place for a couple seconds, but once there is an inch or too of water in the tub, this stays in place and does the job perfectly. I use the little suction cup in the tab to have it hang on the inside of the tub when not in use. Good product.

Works great!
This bath tub stopper works GREAT! I would definitely recommend this to any parent needing something to plug their tub for bath time! It suctions very well and no water leaks out while my daughter is bathing, unless she pulls the stopper up.
