These jars come in various sizes and the 22 oz is just right for my needs. I wanted it to store reconstituted heavy cream in the fridge and they work great for that.They are not leak proof and don't allow me to simply shake the cream when ready to use - which would be ideal.They are described as canning jars and I would not use for canning. The lids are only a one twist, the seal is not that tight and don't know the studiness in boiling water. However, for what I need, they work great. They would work for jar salads, crafts storage, overnight oats, breast milk and various storage needs.

I bought these to store my homemade salad dressing in. They're perfect! Easy Strawberry Vinaigrette (I double the recipe)Ingredients 8 ounces frozen strawberries (THAWED) OR Fresh Berries 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 2 tablespoons olive oil ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground black pepperDirections Blend strawberries, honey, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper together in a blender until smooth.

If you want to make jar salads, this definitely fits the bill on size and ease of cleaning. Much better than metal mason lid jars that rust, and also the 22 oz. Size (bigger than 16 oz, less than 32 oz) is awesome. Wide mouth and shape is perfect. I love the rubber in the lids too!

The jar's opening has a weird in between diameter at 3 inches. It's not wide mouthed to fit my current lids of 3.25". It's not normal either for regular pickle jar (2.75"). Kind of annoyed because I bought straining kefir caps for wide mouth mason jars and these lids don't fit.

This Jar and Lid combo is perfect for me and I am itching to purchase a second pair but I don't want to pack them and I know Amazon will most likely have them when I am ready, as winter passes. Perfect Jars!!!

Lids leak

Got them to mainly make overnight oats which requires a shake here and there. Omg what a mess. I lost so much milk shaking them. These are definitely NOT leak proof. The lids are terrible. Had to share. I wish I had gone with another kind.
