I found the brush is brilliant at loose brush work, and painting evergreen conifer trees or ringlet hair as well as plants.

This brush is universal and perfect for watercolor.

This is a quality product, well made, well balanced with bristles that come to a sharp point. It's balanced and the bristles don't shed. I can recommend this brush!

Wenn man sich an die Arbeitsweise mit diesem Pinsel gewöhnt hat, ist er ein Supertool besonders für die Blumenmalerei in Aquarell. Man kann ihn auch sehr gut in Landschaftsbildern gebrauchen, wenn man einen eher freien Malstil pflegt. Die Fasern sind weich, gleichzeitig aber auch stiff genug, um die unterschiedlichsten Blüten und Blätter zu formen. Ich benutze ihn sehr häufig - auch in Landschaften. Macht viel Spaß!

The media could not be loaded.  Got for a good price so decided to try for watercolors.As with all silver brushes it’s excellent quality. Bristles are more stiff than typical, especially their black velvet line. Comfortable in hand, although handle is a little thicker & longer than I’m used to.Overall I’d say this would work well for various types of plants & unique leaf shapes. Is it necessary? Absolutely not. Is there a learning curve? Yep, it doesn’t hold much water or pigment (which is why I think these bristles are more suited for other media).I definitely need to use this brush more, I’m sure I haven’t discovered it’s full potential. The stiffness & water retention throws me off. But with some practice I think it’ll be a nice tool to have for florals.

I can't say that my painting got any better with this brush, but that's on me, not the brush! Practice I guess. Nicely constructed, bristles are tight and don't lose their shape.
