Project Nursery 4.3 Video Baby Monitor System with Room Temperature Sensor, Motion and Sound Detection Alerts, Two Way Communication, Infrared Night Vision and Range up to 800 Feet

So far this has been a big improvement over our previous video monitor. It doesn't make a lot of background noise, and the video can stay on or turn off as needed with a simply button click. We also like that we can move the camera around from the monitor which is helpful because our baby moves around her crib! It doesn't interfere with our wifi or our tv antennas, and it works throughout our whole house (about 2500 square feet). If it matters, it comes with two very long power cords, one for the monitor and one for the camera. This was useful to us since our last camera we had to order an extension cord.The only thing I wish is that it had a motion sensor, but I had trouble finding that anywhere - I don't mean the non-motion alarm things that are meant to sense if the baby stops breathing, I mean I wish it would light up or make a noise when the baby moves. Our daughter generally wakes up and starts rolling around without making much noise, and doesn't start to cry or yell until she's gotten herself stuck or scared. (I should note that this may be a possibility for this monitor - I haven't really had the time to read the instructions yet!)UPDATED - it does have a motion sensor! We’ve now turned on the motion sensor so that the video comes on when she starts moving around! It works great so far!

After 9 months of use, my camera has stopped working because the micro usb jack fell into the camera body randomly, it only works when plugged in and I cannot plug it in now. I have a photo attached of it's near perfect condition. My monitor (also 9 months old) has 7 cracks in the plastic from normal use (no mishandling or drop). The battery cage does not stay closed without tape now. Physical damage is not covered under their warranty so I was offered nothing with these defaults in my call with customer service. This is my second complete system I've owned in 24 months. I've had 5 pieces of equipment stop working or fall apart: one camera, two monitors (one after only 9 months) and two power cords (they both stopped working randomly within a couple hours of working just fine, the company replaced one of these cords but not both). The temperature sensor has never worked on either of the two systems I've purchased. Looks/works great initially but not strong enough quality to last through their 1 year warranty. Two years later and I'll be purchasing my third complete system, this time a new brand!

I am guilty of being an over researcher for baby items...this one caught my attention and a I was not disappointed. It is perfect!! Screen is clear, alerts work great, quick set up and no feedback. Best part, it...just...works. No need to hold it at a random angle or only stand in one single corner of your house.

I bought this baby monitor and received it today so this review will be based on my first impression. I have reviewed the Infant Optics DXR-8, the Arlo Baby and the Project Nusery 4.3” digital zoom and this by far my favorite. This baby monitor has some great features that some leading competitors do not have. My favorite feature is the noise/motion activation when on stand by (screen turns on when noise or motion is detected). Bought this to use with our newborn and just went to use it for the first time and it opens the start up screen and then just shuts off. I have it plugged in and everything... it’s out of the return window too because we go it after my shower and baby is now 1 month old and we’re getting ready to move into the nursery. Really disappointed in this product!Update: I was able to get this working, but it cannot keep time (time passes faster than on an actual clock) and temperature is always about 5-7 degrees hotter than itactually is in the room

The first one that was shipped was broken so I had to return it and order a new one. The second one arrived unblemished. It worked well for about 4 weeks but then it stopped panning or it would only have a small arc that it would pan, which is undesirable since my toddler likes to get in and out of bed a lot. I tried turning it on/off and reconnecting the camera and the parent unit. Nothing ever worked. The screen image is of good quality during the day and at night. I returned the second one and bought a completely different system. I bought the one that is consistently rated #1 and is only slight more expensive. Hopefully that one will work better.

Worked for a few months, and the monitor slowly became harder to charge. Now the charger just absolutely won't work. Tried multiple chargers that I know work. Not working the money. Picture quality is good, the monitor was not used in rough ways, dropped, or ever had a charger forceably put in. Ive been very gentle with it because Ive otherwise liked the quality. The video does a slight delay that my others did not have though, and the speaker and music on the camera is really creepy. It literally made my tough as nails son cry.
