I purchased this mobile when my son was about 2 months old and it has been a lifesaver! High-contrast colors are very sensory and great for baby’s development. The gentle music and lights help calm my son when he's fussy and encourage him to focus and track the moving objects.The mobile is easy to attach to the crib rail, or bassinet rail, and the arm extends out far enough to keep it out of his reach. I like that it has 5 different melodies so I can change it up. The music volume is adjustable too.My son is now 3 months old and still loves watching the mobile spin. The lights and music hold his attention for 10-15 minutes at a time, which is great for tummy time or when I need to put him down for a minute. I feel it's helping with his visual development and tracking skills.The only downside is the music can get repetitive after awhile. But overall, this mobile is a great value and I highly recommend it for newborns and young infants. It's a simple way to provide visual stimulation and soothe your baby. I expect we'll get a lot more use out of it in the coming months.

I bought this for our youngest child, and he loves it! He is 3 months old now and loves to follow as it spins. He is quick to calm when I turn it on if he’s been fussing, and it keeps him happily entertained if I need to lay him down for a little bit to get things done.It was a little awkward to attach to our pack n play in our room, and it needs to be tightened from time to time, or else the arm will tip over, but I would imagine it will hopefully do a better job of staying up once we transition it to his crib.I do wish the mobile had adjustable volume, but it’s not too loud, no too quiet most times. I like the mode options for music/rotation, just music without rotation, and rotation without music, as well as being able to switch melodies.

I am only giving it four stars because it can be pretty loud and at first I couldn’t figure out how to lower the volume control. If you press down on the M button for a couple seconds that’s the volume control. It’s very durable and cute. The spin cycle is at a good rate not too fast or slow. Music is pretty generic and does switch to white noise. Overall it performs like I expected it to and my newborn really likes it.

Our baby is 6 weeks old. I felt bad about baby just staring at the blank ceiling when she’s awake in the crib, and wanted to get her something visual to look at so she can get some nice brain stimulation. I did not expect how much she would like the product. She would look at it spin around and around with amusement and smile, kick her legs in excitement, coo and laugh a little, and it even calms her down and helps her sleep- which as all new parents know anything that does that you just buy. The music is also beautiful, it’s unlike the usual high energy annoying kids music- it’s so soothing I could fall asleep listening to the music. Customer service is also so great, very responsive and helpful with any issue, even though I have no time and sleep deprived, I am making a point to leave a positive review for this product.

Overall, we're happy with this purchase. Smooth circling of hypnotizing minipillows? Check! Easy to assemble? Check! Easy to clean? Check! Is it stable when assembled and positioned correctly by sleep-deprived parents who can barely read directions that it doesn't come with? Check! Is the music quiet? Hahahaha....no. This is where the mobile falls short. Even on its quietest "sneak-a-donut-while-the-kids-are-sleeping" mode, the mobile is loud. It's loudest setting is probably what Satan uses as his alarm clock. Another downside is that you have to adjust the volume every. Single. Time. It also doesn't help that the volume buttons are the same as the "next" and "previous" buttons so you have to hold down the button for what feels like an eternity. That being said, even with the cons of this mobile, we'd still order it again as it's well made and the dangly bits are positioned so baby can actually see the high contrast images.

Great item

Overall great product, I love the designs and the speed at which it spins, but I hate dealing with the volume control, I feel like I can't ever get it quiet enough. I have fiddled with the volume controls many times and it just doesn't seem to make that big of a difference, and each time I turn it off and back on again it is back to max volume.Edit: bumped the star rating down one because I've now had to turn it on before bedtime and it's so loud I can't sleep
