Stylish and Thwarty
I have bought two of these mousepads now. The first one my boss tried to steal from me. The second I threw at an murderous assassin who snuck into my cubicle to murder me while Becky (my cube neighbor) was noisily chowing down on a package of crackers, the Ritz kind, so you know Beck couldn’t control herself and had to eat the entire bag in one sitting, thus giving my would be neerdowell enough time to strangle me with an extremely long zip tie. (See I have a large head and this assassin knew that and thus created this perfect scenario with Becky’s favorite crackers to muffle my vigorous thrashing while the large zip tie encroached upon my throat.) However the decorative edge of the mouse pad doubles as a decorative bludgeoning device. Which no normal flimsy rubber pad could withstand the repeated blows to my attacker. And that black smooth finish, easily washed off with plenty of time for me to get my quarterly report to my manager Roger, that middle management thief. All in all I would buy this mouse pad, again. For the third time.

- Perfect tracking for productivity use when using a blue laser ...
- Zero delay when I move my mouse.- Perfect tracking for productivity use when using a blue laser mouse called Microsoft Surface Mouse. (I haven't tried other types of digital mice. And for professional gaming, you might have very exacting requirements for a specific slide speed, but if that's you, you wouldn't be looking at this small, affordable mouse pad anyway.)- Perfect texture and color to EXACTLY match my Apple Magic Keyboard (silver model). (Some pictures make one or the other darker or lighter, and this also happens in real life when viewing from an angle. From overhead, they're identical in color and texture!)- A compact footprint. I'm using a super high-resolution (4K) monitor, so it should be big enough for anyone using reasonable mouse cursor speed.- Heavy enough to stay in place while mousing. These were my 5 criteria, so it's perfect!

Sleek and attractive
Nice looking mousepad that performs well. I was worried that the surface might be too reflective to work with optical/laser mouses but I had no tracking problems with the mouses I tested. The pad is very thin and light but the bottom rubber surface provides enough friction that it does not slide around during use. The texture of the surface is very fine and feels pretty smooth to the touch, mouses glide with very little effort.Being constructed from aluminum has it's pros and cons. It is very easy to clean and does not get worn and dirty the same way a cloth pad does. But there is a little sound when the mouse glides over it, it is slight and not an issue for me. The size is good for a small desk or workspace but may be too small for gamers that use a lower sensitivity setting. This is a very cool looking mousepad that has held up well so far.

I don't plan on buying another mouse pad ever
I love the looks of this mouse pad. The satin finish of the surface combined with the polished bevel edges matches my tower case. The surface is smooth gliding with no issue of my mouse misreading the surface (Corsair M65 Pro RGB) and I'm looking forward to never buying another mouse pad again.I do think it is too small for the serious gamer but great for the photo editor. As for the scratching noise some complain about, it's true and here's why; it's a piece of metal and not perfectly flat and it's a piece of metal. This could be the way it's produced or the way it's shipped. I positioned the pad in such a manner that the warped side is out of the travel path of my mouse. It also depends on the mouse because for kicks and giggles I tested two other mice; Logitech M310 which is very noisy in part to being a crappy, lightweight mouse; Lenovo MO18BO with more tracking padding and heft than the Logitech and as quiet as the Corsair.

PERFECT!
I love it and can't believe people would complain about the sound it makes when you slide the mouse around. Hello, it's a hard surface, of course it will make a sound. TO be clear, if your desk is wood, slide your mouse around and that's the same sound. Separately, I love the size, any smaller and I would have to pick up my mouse to reset my location on the screen. I don't run off the pad ever and I like how pretty it is. Yes, I said "pretty" because why else would you buy a gold mouse pad. It's cute so thin I can slip in a drawer, a notebook, or wherever if I want to clear my workspace. one more thing, it doesn't slide around, it stays exactly where I put it during use.

Modern elegant upgrade to an old school mouse pad
I just received this mouse pad yesterday. I bought it for my mom because she was trying to update her office computer set up. The old school mouse pads were a bit of an eye sore. This product did take a little long to arrive but nonetheless it did arrive. The surface is as smooth as glass. Very lightweight with a sleek modern design. Super simple yet elegant. I recommend this product to anyone trying to update the look of their mouse pad or anyone who likes to drink coffee (or any beverage) at their computer. Spills can be cleaned up easily and it will still maintain its timeless look. I hope this helps!

Great mouse pad
This is a great size. Grinds a bit on the shiny side but still works great. I would bu6 another, very sturdy and slim.

Lies
Don't believe the dimensions. I was looking for a 6 inch mouse pad. This is the standard 7 inch. UGH! Why lie???
