XQ Max Heavy Duty, High Security, Anti-Theft Bicycle Frame Lock with 2 Keys

This lock is an amazingly good price.Great value for money, the ability to remove the key is much better than many much more expensive locks 👍

I wasn’t expecting very much for £6.25 but this lock is as good as any I’ve seen in local stores for upwards of 20.00. The lock is robust and unlike others I’ve seen comes with the brackets and fasteners to secure it to the A post just under the saddle. The key is also removable when not in use unlike many of its competitors.Although there are no installation instructions with the lock it only took a few minutes to install it and to protect the frame of the bike I used some shrink sleeve on the top bracket. Once secured to the bike the lock can be engaged by sliding the lever down whilst turning the key.

Like the price all metal construction, but missing the two small bolts in the picture that would have allowed me to attach this to the hole in my bike frame. had to use the fitting kit, it work but key holewill need regular oil as my bike lives outside.

It does not fit my sons bike at all, though admittedly his bike is not the usual shape at the back. Although I cannot bolt it on, it works well through the wheel and frame to the side. Nice and secure, great value for money overall.

Good product and looks like it will work well.Not universal in fitting, worked on my partners bike but had to cable tie it to my bike, fit is tighter than the bolt could

I initially gave this product a good review when I bought it back in February. I also went on to by more locks for my other cycles. The problem is now after around six months of use the key continually jams and won’t open the lock without a lot of jiggling about. Clearly the internals have worn. Same has happened to the other locks so I can only conclude it’s made of poor quality metal. Avoid.

Excellent value, so happy I can take the key off and can put a key ring and label,I bought a more expensive one, and the key doesn't come off, I lost the key.
