It's rare these days to recive something that was better than advertised. This feeder is just that, exelent, hand crafted hive feeder that was built care. The wood looks great, the joints are tight, the floats look perfect, the screws look to be stainless steel and the food reservoir is carefully sealed with bees wax. My hat is off the the builder, exelent job!

I ordered 2 of these top feeders. They came very quickly which was nice however, the quality was less than expected. There were globs of wax in the chambers, and the floor of 2 of the 4 chambers were not attached. I renailed the floors in and that only showed me the poor fit of the floors. I should have returned them then but I was desperate. I reheated the globs of wax to fill in the seams and that seemed to work until the next day the wax had separated from the wood sides and in the corners like the wood was wax phobic which would make the chambers leak.

This top feeder fit on my 8 frame beehive perfectly!! Great craftmanship!! I also ordered the candy board..it fit great too! Would definitely order again from this seller!

Ordered for one of my hives. I like this type of feeder to get my bees ready for winter and early spring. The boards on the inside are waxed on the area where the feed would be, but the float is not. The wood is of decent quality and the price was reasonable for the quality of the product. I will probably paint it eventually to make it last longer. I am satisfied with the product overall.

What a wonderful company to work with.We bought a candy board from Little LaRue Apiary and it was perfect for our bees and a very helpful video on YouTube on how to prepare the candy for the bees and then we bought a Bee hive top feeder with floats for our hive and there was a mix-up and a cover was shipped by mistake. We made a quick request for a replacement and in a few days we had our feeder and the cover was easily returned. Well done LLA. Keep up the great work and it was sure refreshing to deal with an honest American company.We'll definitely be ordering more from you in the future.One thing I would recommend is to quality check the wax lining is clear up to the inside lip. Someone just got in a hurry but it's an easy fix with a little melted beeswax

Toughtimbers seller is using Little Larue Apiary LLc photos and item details for this bee top feeder that I originally received. The product received was put together with nails, cheap pine, wrong height, no handles, etc. and was not anything like the picture. Luckily the owners of Little Larue Apiary explained the issue with the Toughtimbers seller, honored my order and shipped me two as described. (See photos attached) Pls verify your seller is Little Larue Apiary if you purchase until Amazon removes Toughtimbers bogus listing so you receive the Little Larue Apiary product. Your bees will thank you!!!
