A bit pricy, but fit perfectly with the remote.

We needed a place to put the fan remote and this is a perfect fit! The back of the remote said it was an “HD3” and I picked this cradle because it specifically said it fits the HD3 and also had good reviews. It comes with TWO cradles, 4 screws (two for each cradle), 4 plastic drywall anchors, and also a sticky tape if you don’t want to put screws into the wall. Quick and easy to hang. Now the remote has a home and won’t get lost. It’s also the same color as the remote. I’m glad I picked this one for a couple more dollars than others. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you!

Only needed 1 but couldn't find only 1 sold so now I have an extra. I don't understand why the fan manufacturer doesn't offer this wall mount remote holder with the fan. All other ceiling fans I've bought come with a wall mounted remote holder. I hate searching for the remote and this helps to keep it in one place on the wall right when I walk in the room. There are other holders sold but they were either too small or too large. I didn't want a bucket, at least that's what it looks like, to put it in. This one is the perfect size. Thank you for having this available!

If you have bought one of the fans that have the general black remote (most newer fans), this is the perfect holder for you. I have purchased others that were more generic, however, the remove never fit right, since it was a universal remove holder. This one is exactly what you need if you have the remote imaged. It is easy to mount, and comes with two, which is great since most have multiple fan remotes to mount. I would also recommend mounting with the tape or Velcro rather than screwing it into the wall. The remotes are light and don't need that kind of mounting hardware.

If your remote is listed these wall holders will be a nice way to mount the remote so the puppy won't chew it up, and it will act as a sort of wall switch as well. BUT- the expanding plastic anchors are marginal at best. They might work in wood OK, but I would recommend that you do not use them in wallboard. Just don't.
