Golf X Spann Glove

Bought Cadet XL. I used the XSPANN glove I replaced with this order for more than eight months. It didn't really need replacing, but my wife thought the white palm looked too dirty :-) This is the best-fitting golf glove I've ever had. Good club grip. Just a little difficult to get on, because of the elastic wrist, but once on it's like it was custom made for my hand.

I honestly was considering a 4 or even 3 star review at first because, as you can see, that mesh V-socket Callaway has near the wrist, tore immediately upon putting them on. Before any rounds are played, let me just say, it’s automatically a perfect glove for me. Who even cares about that V-mesh? I honestly do not believe it serves a function the more I considered my review. Here is main reason for 5-star glove. I have tired dozens of gloves in my lifetime over the course of my casual play. As you can see from that video, my hands are crazy hard to fit. They are a insanely thick and wide. So palm width I have an extra large. Just beef. Finger length however, a medium. (Yeah okay… insert cho*e joke here) so all jokes aside my hands don’t fit into any ordinary glove unless we are talking Hospital nitride gloves, and elastic gloves like under armor… basically any medium that stretches. Still reading? Mmk my hobbit handed brothers, let me break this down for you real slow… So golf gloves? What’s the problem. They are all leather. Yeah so what, it stretches out over time. Nope, not enough. First of all my hand cannot squeeze into a medium or even medium large. Large at the smallest. So smallest size I can fit into is large. Fingers are way to long. I look like Edward scissor hands. So for most of this sport, I have used medium/large cadet leather gloves. However, I would have to modify the opening, even with Velcro, in order to squeeze my hand in. I’m talking straight Frodo nubbins. No joke. Just sheer ogre handed. And yeah my feet are weird also and flat so whatever no big deal? These come along. Yeah it ripped a little bit aesthetically. The modifications I would make in an all leather glove wouldn’t just compromise it aesthetically, it would also compromise the durability, the performance, the elasticity of the upper at times, etc… so I am extremely grateful these tit so incredibly well. Why am I doing that lame hand squeeze thing in the video? Never honestly in my LIFE, been able to do that in a golf glove, let alone a brand new one. Oh and these things PS: don’t look that pretty anyways aesthetically. And if your worried about how your gonna look in comparison to your golf buds who have all white classic gloves? Well then you probably should consider some therapy my guy lol. Mr. Sensitive…. Maybe pick up a new hobby or like go on vacation haha I donno man.

Really like this glove and not having a Velcro closure, which the Velcro ones never seem to hold. This fits snuggly as expected and doesn’t slip when swinging.

Bought this because of the “Compression Fit Golf Glove” tag line which is intriguing to me a someone who wears compression gloves most of the day and while asleep for chronic inflammation in my hands. I also had one of the original models from a few years back prior to developing the inflammation condition. TLDR is that despite the other reviews whining about it being so much better, this is an improvement. There’s a reason it’s 4 years old and I still use it, and that’s because it was never a secure and stable enough fit to use for anything but the short game. These aren’t quite at that level of compression, but they’re close. I genuinely think if Callaway were to be just a little bold and go out on a limb and add just a small amount of ergonomic padding like seen in the Bionic PerformanceGrip Pro gloves and have these fit more like a true compression glove that these would become far more popular than they probably realize. I’m 31 and in better than average shape and I would exclusively use that sort of glove if it existed, at least a few pairs per season. Full disclosure, I’m returning this because, as you can see in the picture, it tore at the seam near the thumb. I’m chalking this up to an uncommon manufacturing defect, but I have no way of knowing that. I had it for two days before that appeared and only used it to compare with my Bionic glove while putting inside my house. After this trial period and overall liking it much better than most other golf gloves, I still won’t be asking for a replacement with my return simply because while the feel is a bit better than that of my Bionic PerformanceGrip Pro, the support feels extremely lacking by comparison. If the compression were truer to that of say a Copper Fit compression glove, that would make up for the padding support difference most likely. Unfortunately it falls a bit short in both aspects.

These are great gloves but I received a right hand glove in a container labeled left hand, could not return since it had been over a month. Lesson: check your glove as soon as it is delivered.

I was hoping this would be something as good as their last model. Sadly not even close. The glove opening is very small and I has very little stretch to make it any easier. The thumb part is a little longer than my thumb but the fingers are the right length. I guess this I what you get when you order online without trying on. Definitely will not purchase again. Which is to bad as the previous model were the best golf glove I ever used.
