Good bag
We had to rinse a bunch of times to reduce taste, added a touch of vinegar, and after a number of times it actually is pretty solid, we used it to carry water on a 3 day backpack trip. If I could have I would have gotten a carabiner on each grommet and probably put my own string through those and hooked it to my bag. When full the 6L size was a little snug but eventually fit into the top bag compartment of my backpack. I did have it leak once but I think that was because somehow the little valve got pulled up on something. I took note of this going forward and just made sure I knew how I was positioning the top of the bag. On the trip though no leaks and it was fine and worked well and can even handle boiling water in the winter and stuff. We carried water in this and in smart water bottles which are each a liter. We filled the smart bottles from this dromedary bag. They where just lighter being 1/6th the size to use and maneuver. Plus they acted like a decent measure of how much water was left in the bag as if we used 3 of those bottles we knew there was 3 liters left. Otherwise this was good and to clean we just washed with soap and stick a paper towel roll into it to keep it open and let it try, you can even clip the cap to the string around it to keep it all together while drying. Quite good.

Great for ultralight camping with a crowd
Paired with a pump style water filter, like the MSR Guardian, that threads onto the bag, you get a system that provides plenty of water for a group without a lot of bulk or weight. I also like that the cap itself has multiple openings that minimize waste when getting water-small flip up spout for wetting a toothbrush or other tasks that don't need much water, medium sized spout for normal usage - filling water bottles or smaller pots, and the wide mouth opening for filling the container itself. I didn't notice any "off" flavors when using it, as others have posted, but I also rinsed it out thoroughly before the first use.

Very sturdy bag
I have been using these for years. They are not super lightweight so I don't think they are the best for back packing. But they are pretty lightweight and are super durable. I have used them for off-roading and camping for years. You can throw them in the back of your vehicle, and around the campground, and they will be fine.

Worth it by far
High quality and durable for hikes/weeks in the field. Can be used for one person or transporting water for multiple people. Good for military

Mostly good. Some bad.
When everything works! Its great!!That being said, i ordered two bags and one of them had a leak in the cap on my first trip. The other worked perfectly. They feel durable, secure, and clean. Was sure to rinse out the bag when we received it, and water tasted fine and natural from the bag when we used it.Improvements: There is a wierd thread loop that attaches the pouring cap to the main cap. I am unclear if this is just a part of packaging, or if it is meant to keep the pieces together. But if it is meant to be a feature, i will be removing it. It is too short and makes screwing/unscrewing the cap an annoyance.Lastly, the hanging/carrying strap could be far more taught/secure to the bag. When handling the bag by the strap, it barely holds on while full of water. The whole structure could use a better carrying handle.

Compacts well, functional for backpacking
It’s durable and sturdy, but the string holding the lid on did break rather easier. The first time I took it out backpacking, actually. However, it’s still 100% functional, I just have to be careful not to lose the lid.The water does acquire a strange taste if it sits all night in the bag, kind of like a soapy or plastic taste - can’t quite pinpoint it. However, I could be cleaning it wrong? Not really sure there, but it’s not a huge day since I mostly use it for day trips.Over all, it’s a great water bladder and is super compact.

Effective water storage
Rinsed it out twice. Filled it and hung it up on the back patio for over a week, (limited sun exposure.) No leaks and the water taste has not changed. Terrific! The 3 way fill cap is a nice feature: large for filling, with a handy "grab" handle, middle size for connecting to other devices, hose, filter, etc., and the small flip open dispenser, which allows fairly precise measuring into a cook pot or cup. Seems rugged, but mine is new, no abuse in the woods yet. Hanging in camp may require some inventiveness. I used a stick as a spreader across the "top" of the bag, held in place with some string at each end/corner, and then hanging the stick to a post, tree,et.

Great water bag
Strong, tough bag, 10L is huge, buy lots of water for an extended camp weekend...probably 3 to 4 days, depending on what you are doing. Hangs nicely, spigot works great...I will buy a second one for sure. No taste or smell at all with this bag, I did fill twice and empty overnight with hot tap water and a tablespoon of baking soda, once it arrived. No issues at all.

Great product
Good product, met expectations and while it did have a plastic taste after the first few uses it’s dissipating. I also did a baking soda wash over night and that seemed to help.Don’t snip the string on the cap however! Oops haha- i was not thinking and I did that and it later fell off on the trail #noob. You can however buy a replacement cap for less than 20 bones.I bought 2 6L bags for my partner and I and I feel 4L would have been sufficient for what I do.So humble to be a student at this 🙃

Perfect
Perfect durable water storage. Material has the thickness to inspire the trust that rivals like Hydrapak simply lack.

Consigliatissimo!
