I purchased this set of Schrader valve tools to remove the two Schrader valves from one-pound, green, propane cylinders. This set will let you remove both Schrader valves in those green propane cylinders prior to disposal or to loosen the valve to allow gas to escape, lowering the internal pressures, while refilling said propane cylinders. Although, I'd highly recommend you stop being a skinflint and buy refillable, 1-pound propane cylinders like those offered by Flame King here on Amazon. Thicker steel cylinders, less chance of rupturing that the thin skinned non-refillable cylinders. ;)

One reviewer said to pony up the rest and get the screw driver version. I agree with this. I bought this to use on a large schrader valve for a 2007 F150 and it worked. It took some tinkering and did not work flawlessly, but after some effort I unscrewed the valve and put a new one in. The reason you don't really want the double sided tool is because you have to push down on the valve to compress the spring to unscrew the valve. +1 for an affordable option. The quality of the tools is pretty good, but not great.

I bought these to use for my Walther PK380. The takedown tool that comes with it is ridiculously easy to misplace. It's black. Once it goes into my range bag, it is instantaneously invisible. It's also made of plastic and tiny. I kept expecting it to snap in two in my hand. I wanted something for a backup, and these fit the bill. I tossed them in my range bag and can actually SEE them in there. I use this instead of the plastic gizmo now. Some day, who knows, I might even fix a tire with them.

It works good to get into the hard to reach places. It works quite well with tire repairs. This item is a must for tire repair jobs! I bought this product because I couldn't find the tool I needed but was told that this would work.the picture of the tool I bought was a wooden handle which I liked. Instead of that I got two different ones "different sizes" but handle is plastic so don't expect it to last long. Once I use it I will do another review to say whether it worked. It was to replace a break down tool for welther.

I ordered this item primarily to obtain the dual-head tool, and having the single head tool packaged together with it was a plus. The price is definitely 'right'. The one negative from m y perspective is that the size of the handle on the single head tool is a bit too small - it would be more functional if the handle diameter was 2-3 times greater, to fit into the palm more securely. Non etheless, the set is functional, inex[pesnikve and was delivered VERY quickly.

I purchased this item to add to my tool kit at work. I work at a ski area, and I do a lot of maintenance. So far these are holding up well. I used them to replace a makeshift valve inserter for putting valves into the snow tubes. This makes it so much quicker and easier than the makeshift tool I had put together. I will be buying more of these to have as spares as well as to have in other tool kits. You can't beat the price, and the red color makes it easier to locate if you set it down.
