Very pretty bell, well made and mounts solidly. Has a clear ring that is very effective at drawing the attention of people on the bike trail. One needs a bell with some volume for that. It is slightly smaller and not quite as loud as the brass units Crane makes. The difference is probably due to this one being made from aluminum. Only had it for a few months but the paint looks quite durable.Very happy with my purchase.

The bell looks great but the ring is rather dull (perhaps due to the paint?) I tried several adjustments to make it a “crisp” ring with no luck. Still works well and looks nice. Just not the tone I prefer.

This bell looks great, no question. It was a gift for someone and they really loved it. However, the sound is a bit lacking. The resonant ding isn't there like it is on the other crane bells, and it actually sounds to me like the pitch is a bit off.However, the person that got the gift really liked it and decided to keep it.

Top quality. More beautiful than expected. Hand painted. If only it were easier to find such top quality items on Amazon without having to sort through piles of mass produced trash designed to break
