Emmie is such a fierce one. She doesn't care about what others think about her. She is sassy and just a queen in her own right. Theo is the kind of a-h01e hero you love to hate. Gorgeous. Arrogant. Ruthless. Cold hearted. He has to be ready to take over their mafia empire and his darkness is on another level. Emmie and Theo are like gasoline and matchsticks. They hate each other but that hate is only cover for this sizzling hot connection they feel. They hurt each other and taunt each other and still give in to this pure filthy passion. I absolutely loved this book. What a way to end 2021 and start 2022. Every since we met Emmy I have wanted her book, and the chemistry and electricity blasting off between Emmy and Theo in Stella and Seb’s book was just everything.This book had me gripped and I could not put it down, and I didn’t want to put the book down. The fire and chemistry between the pair certainly continued in this book and just loved it, you could never predict what was going to happen between the pair and they both have just as good back to each other. I did not see that ending coming though, and the cliffhanger, omg, feb needs to hurry up so I can find out what happens.

I was so looking forward to Theo & Emmie’s story as we knew their chemistry was off the charts in the previous 3 books for Seb & Stella’s story.I’m not sure what the hell Cora blamed Emmie for but it can’t be true and how the hell are they ******* what did all that folder say.I’m glad we are still seeing their circle of friends from the other books also.That ending though 😬😬 she isn’t going to be happy and I can see another bumpy ride from these two in the next book.

This picks up from where the previous books finished timeline wise. And it is truly amazing you see completely different side to both Theo and Emmie. It is filled with twist and turns, hate, betrayal, secrets, lies, jealousy, hope, vulnerability, chemistry, passion, steam and anger. There defiantly surprises and naughty cliff hanger. Captivating read with intriguing characters.

This book was brilliant and my favourite so far. I love town you see the hard, horrid side of Theo but then when Emmie is involved you see someone completely different. I can honestly say hi wasn't expecting her find at the penthouse to be what it was, that shocked me and I can't wait to see how\why in book 2. Such a brilliant book and definitely a must read.
