Well I got this not just to transfer data etc. I wanted for my audio studio work/hobby.I can run my old windows 10 from my windows 11 and I have 2 monitors on win 11. Yet I can split screen 1 and put win 10 pc on as well.I personally think its awesome.But I hadn't used for somme time l. Now it's connected but not lett8ng me do what I was. I think I need to update or something. Maybe uninstall and reinstall will do the job.I shall get around it. It is perfect for what I want. I bought mine in 2023. So that's a good result.A solid bit of kit

This product has saved the day of my businesses. I need to transfer files from my laptop which isn’t connected to the internet, to my apple Mac mini. Tried Ethernet several times. The cables work at first but then after I next reboot, it loses the connection permanently. This cable has been a business saver. Works every time, very easy to set up and very easy to use the software. I can transfer files with speed from the windows 11 laptop to the Mac mini, very quickly indeed. Wish I had seen this product ages ago, it would have saved me a lot of time and money messing with Ethernet cables and configurations. It’s just plug and play, as you need for computers these days. Excellent product with fantastic value.

Purchased a new PC and previously on buying a new laptop had paid for a package which included transfer of data (hadn't got cloud storage nor wanted it) from old laptop thinking it was a 'faff ' Did a bit of googling and found this solution rather than paying the store. although not the best with tech, found it really easy to set up and transfer what I needed using the transfer cable and would not hesitate to do it again the future

Not very impressed with this device, very hard to get to work right,, and instructions not very clear, abandoned it in the end

Have been using this cable for weeks now. It manages to transfer things so quickly and easily. Trying to transfer new music files from my PC to my DJ laptop, which is small and just powerful enough to run the Pioneer Rekordbox programme installed on it, they cannot be located from the Rekordbox programme, so I have to manually search for each music file, individually, in amongst the rest, using Windows explorer.Each time, I use the cable, I simply transfer the same folder from the PC and it updates the corresponding folder on the laptop, without making duplicates of files that were already there, and the new files appear in Rekordbox, automatically, at the top of the list of recently added files, thanks to indexing them by date. So glad I discovered this cable and installed the Easy Computer Sync software they offer, free, with it.

Works great. I bought this cable to move media and games from my laptop to newly build pc. I have moved about 700gb of data in about 5 hours. It took a bit longer is because games have many small files. This is why transfer speeds drops down. Anyway it is faster than my Internet. The average speed of transfer was around 290mbps and my Internet speed is 120mbps.

Updating from old Lenovo on Windows 7 to new HP on Windows 11, this seemed to be the perfect tool to transfer a few Gb of stored photos and files.Downloaded the software and installed on both machines as instructed.Plug in cable to new machine, software sees it.Plug in cable to old machine, software sees it.However, LED on cable housing fails to establish communication.Try again using different ports. The same. Try old then new. No different. Tried re-installing the software. No different.After 3 hours of trying every combination possible, reloading and resetting, I gave up and began transferring with a memory stick.
