Needs Considerable Story Editing
This book is a series of short vignettes, some only a page long, covering the author's tour in Vietnam. It was a pleasure for me to read, and interesting, since it brought back so many memories. However, the story needs a lots of editing to correct many repetitions, technical errors, and a general tightening up. A little less time spent on his flying school experiences would have helped. This is the most accurate story or our operation in Laos . I flew over there at the same time. He combines his personal story in getting through pilot training and all the other obstacles that one had to face in survival training schools (etc) with the actual accounts of flying the missions. He also showed the our respect for the A-1, A-26, Day FACs and rescue people who had the really tough jobs. at NKP.
