Mediherb - Andrographis Complex 40 Tabs

My holistic practitioner first gave me this, and then recommended I could buy it on my own, if needed. It boosts the immune system and has helped me THROW OFF a number of colds. Unlike any other products, it has a mix of several immune boosters, not just andrographis herb extract. It also has echinacea root, holy basil herb, calcium, and holy basil herb essential oil. The box says all ingredients are from Standard Process organic farm. I take it as soon as I feel symptoms, or if I know I have been exposed to someone who has been sick and is sneezing or coughing around me. Even if I have begun to start having a runny nose, or sore throat, this stops everything in its tracks - if I take it two to three times a day for two or three days straight. You will be aware of a slight basil flavor and/or after taste, since it includes some basil, so taking it WITH food, maybe advisable. The caplets ARE large (.75 inch long and .25 inch wide) so cutting them in half or taking them with some soft food (like bread) again, might be helpful to get them down. This product is labeled as CONTRAINDICATED if pregnant or lactating. Also labeled as contraindicated if you have allergies to plants of the dairy family. This product is packaged in a plant that manufactures other products containing: soy, milk, egg, wheat, peanut, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish.

Been using for years, glad to still be able to get it. Calming herb. I take dinnertime, for better sleep. Found that in the AM it caused headaches, but not at night. Not sure why the change in form, but same stuff so???

As someone who has been sick often, it is great to find a product that actually works. Since using his product or the last 1.5 years, I haven't been sick. When I start to feel run down, I take one or two during the day or before I go to bed. I wake up feeling better. This product was first recommended by an acupuncturist. I do recommend getting professional advice before taking supplements as healing is a very personalized experience.

Works well for me

I've been using this product for over 2 years. It's the most effective supplement I've found to knock out the ill feelings of the start of a cold or flu. I will continue to use it as my best remedy against dis-ease. It is strong so take it with food. If you have a sensitive stomach take 1/2 a tab and more later.
