This is a beautiful recipe box, holds so many recipes and makes it much easier to organize them all. My only criticism is, because it is heavy, it is hard to grab and lift from my small shelf. A larger vertical opening underneath the box would be great, to allow your fingers to get underneath it. Or small handles. I'm going to put some 1" risers in each corner to give it "legs".

If you're looking for a premium gift for someone you love, this could be it! I bought it for my son who recently learned to cook, and he LOVES it! It looks beautiful in the kitchen, and it holds more recipe cards than he'll ever be able to fill in a lifetime. The slots across the top are perfect for keeping recipe cards at the correct viewing angle while keeping them away from messy ingredients. It's also a neat way to post the night's menu...just prop the recipe cards on top (or make a custom menu card) so everyone can see and know what to expect for dinner. Love this box!

WOW! The workmanship of this recipe box is #1! It is beautiful. When I told my daughter I would pass it on to her she laughed until she looked at it and then she said, ah, yeah I want that. I am going to put a shelf in my kitchen for just this box. Also plenty of room for all my recipes and lots of cards for new recipes. Also, the box it was shipped in was very strong and undamaged. I purchased 3 boxes of recipe cards from Passionate Penny Pincher and this box held all 3 boxes with plenty of room for more. It is beautiful, the quality is fantastic. I love the slits on the top to hold my cards while I am cooking. Highly recommend. Love it!
