Great shoe
Fit well, light, comfortable, but not as cool as I expected. If I wear at work the ventilation is less than most other running shoes I wear. Holds in the heat. But great trail running shoes and if you walk a lot at work.

Perfect for narrow feet
I have narrow feet and these shoes fit perfect (size 7.5, my normal size). Tight but not too tight around the middle of my foot with lots of room for my toes without looking like I have duck feet. No slippage on the heel. The shoes are well made and ready to wear right out of the box. Walked around in them for 2 days just to break them in before taking them out on a long hike and I had no issues with them other than a small hot spot under my ankle bone. I was a bit worried about that but that area of the shoe seems to have quickly softened up after wearing them a lot over the last 48 hrs.I bought these shoes specifically for hiking and backpacking and their big test came yesterday on a 20 km day hike in what turned out to be heavy rain. The shoes performed great going up and down the mountain on slick surfaces and through mud. Nice sticky grip on the soles, good stability on rocky, uneven surfaces. Just the right amount of padding for comfort. Feel very light on your feet. At the end of they day, they cleaned up nicely and the materials held up well to the conditions.I'm very impressed and will definitely be buying another pair or three, four, five...

Nice shoe
Comfortable and bang for your buck.I don’t use them for running, I use these as an outdoor trainer or light hiking shoe. They’ve worked well for me. Only thing I could ask for is that they have some type of goretex in them.

Good grip
Bought these shoes for some light trail running/hiking. Used them on trails in Zion and the Grand Tetons and they have very good grip. When others I’m hiking with are slipping on rocks, I feel confident with these bad boys on my feet! I typically am right around a size 9.5 to 10.0. I bought the 9.5 in these and they fit snug, as expected. They are comfortable for all day use and would recommend buying them when they are on sale on here. The sale cost here was significantly lower than buying at a running store that didn’t even have my size.

Amazing grip, stability and cushion; fit might be tight in the beginning
I usually run 3-5 km during weekdays; 10 km during the weekend on the road. Wanted to try something different in a trail… ordered these shoes after a lot of research. I am a big fan of Saucony running shoes - I also have both Endorphin Speed and Pro2 (also own Nike Vaporfly Next2).Just had my first run in a trail with these shoes and have to say I am very much impressed with the grip, cushion and stability. But a bit of warning for those considering this product. Be ware that the fitting is quite tight (this is fine with me as I have small and narrow feet). I have the same size for all 3 Saucony shoes (Endorphin Speed, Endorphin Pro2, Peregrine 12). In terms of fit for easy comparison; Peregrine12 is tight (guessing this is for stability), Speed is just right, Pro2 is “slightly” loose. For those who want a slightly looser fit or who have wide feet, it might seem tight in the beginning (but actually becomes much better aftrt a few days). Overall, great shoes!!!

Great walking / hiking shoes
Believe what you want to believe, but I think that extra cushion shoes like New Balance and Hoka were hurting my lower back. But when I tried barefoot shoes, my knees hurt and I was getting tendonitis. So, too cushiony is bad...no cushion is bad. That's what makes these Saucony Peregrin's so right...there's a small amount of cushioning and it's not a zero drop shoe. I've only had these shoes for 2 weeks, and I've already put about 50 miles on them. They are very comfortable. I don't have leg pain (like I get with barefoot shoes), and I don't have back pain (like I get with cloud walkers). So, I'm happy. Your results may vary.

A Definite Step Backwards
Like another reviewer, I absolutely loved the Saucony Peregrine 10 shoes. From the moment I first tried them on, I knew they were among the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. Unfortunately, they lasted far shorter than I had hoped they would. They wore through the soles, and I think the rock plate broke in one of them. So I had to replace them. I got another Saucony product. It was fine, but definitely not as good. Thankfully, though, they lasted twice as long. But eventually time comes for all men (and shoes), and I had to replace them as well. Saucony Peregrine 12s were the shoes I chose.I had read several reviews, and I honestly was not sure these would be the shoes for me. But there was a very tempting sales, so I pulled the trigger. After having had these shoes for a couple of months, I think my conclusions are very similar to that other reviewer. Saucony made some very questionable choices in removing padding, trying to make these shoes lighter. They are not uncomfortable per se, but they do not even come close to that initial feeling of amazing comfort that I got from the Peregrine 10s. They are a supportive, but fairly minimalist shoe. I like the lugs, but I worry that they will also wear down quickly. This is especially the case because of the slightly tacky material that the soles are made of. But only time will tell on that count. And by the time they are worn out, this listing will probably be gone. I am also contemplating replacing the insoles to make them more comfortable, and possibly reinforcing the outside, where on both my previous pairs, my little toes eventually wore holes in the fabric. If you are buying these shoes, consider seriously getting the wide size. One thing I loved about Saucony previously was the nice and spacious toe box. Thankfully, I read other reviews, which told me that these shoes were significantly narrower than previous offerings. I think the wide that I got is about the same size as the regular that I had in other models. So you should only buy the regular if you have narrow feet or if you like having your toes pulled together.

Recomendado

Not a neutral fit
These shoes are supposed to be a neutral fit but they were causing my feet to pronate. When I returned I was also charged a return fee that I certainly wasn’t aware of and still could not see an alert to that effect.Bottom line. I would ensure that I had tried both shoes on at a retailer and was comfortable with them before ordering at Amazon.

Comfort and stability
I have only started using these running shoes and I am pleased with them. They provide a comfortable fit with a grippy sole that provides good stability.
