i don't usually write reviews, but when i purchased this brand, there wasn't any. so, i was a little skeptical purchasing this especially after reading some of the reviews for the "yes4all" macebell reviews. this one was more (at the time) then the yes4all one, but i was able to get it sooner, so i "splurged" the extra couple of bucks. and, boy am i glad i did. none of the yes4all issues were present, no rattling loose pieces inside the handle, no chipped paint and no flat spots in the knurling (which, by the way i found on the onnit one while comparing the two). so my only other experience with macebells is with an onnit 10 pounder (the smaller one in the pic). this one has a deeper, more consistent knurling all the way around. as you can see in the pic, it is slightly longer (which it should be as it is bigger, 15 pounds). i will be grabbing more of these and based on this purchase would recommend without hesitation.Update: i did purchase the 20 lb mace. same great finish and came as well packaged as the first. the only issue is, it does have the loose piece of , what i assume is steel, rattling around inside. not overly distracting or annoying when in use, but there. also, i rechecked the more expensive brand and it has the same issue. still definitely worth the purchase.

This is the second Fero steel mace that I purchased and my third steel mace overall. Both of the Fero steel maces that I purchased were well made, well packaged, and arrived in excellent condition with no chips or scratches in the finish. Eventually they will accumulate wear and tear, but it is nice that they didn't look like they had already been used before I got them.

since this item only had one review, i thought i'd take a chance. glad i did. factory new, perfect, no nicks or scratches. very well made.

Mace structure is fine but packaging is wrecked it is all scratched up I have a 7,10,15 and 25 and had them for over 2 years and use them more than 4 times a week and they are not as banged up as this one. When you buy something new it's meant to be new not worn out.
