I found a classic Aeron at a local thrift store for $25 (SCORE), but it had seen better days. Aside from being filthy, this little football support as well as the pad at the front of the seat pan were shot. I disassembled the chair and gave it a thorough deep cleaning, lubrication, and replaced these parts while reassembling. It now looked and felt pretty much like a brand new chair.Turns out my chair find was a size B though and I'm a chunky monkey so it wasn't super comfy, I guess I have more of a size C booty, or maybe I'm just not an Aeron fan. I was able to sell it on though for a considerable profit, so I can't complain!Bottom line is this seems like a good replacement part at a fair price.

Perfect replacement for the chair!

At first glance, this lumbar cushion seemed like a great replacement for the original one that broke. This one ultimately pops out of the rails each time I lean back in my chair. I try to not forcefully lean back in my chair, but this defeats the purpose of having lumbar support. The item is shaped slightly differently and the “fingers” that hold onto the guide rails bend and release under pressure, allowing it to pop out too easily.

If you set this up on the higher side it will pop off. push it lower and it stays fine.

Bought this as the chair I have did not have one. This started to fail after a few weeks and now pops off fairly easily. I don't think I am able to return it as it is just after the 30-days return.

Perhaps this is because the aeron i have is very old and the seat may sink down a bit too much messing up the ergonomics, but my chair honestly feels better without the cushion. I tried using both sides and even the thinner side at any position feels like it just put too much and is too stiff. I will likely be returning this.

I needed a replacement for my chair and this one works great. Fits just like the original.
