After seeing my wife bashing garlic with a glass sugar dispenser, I decided we needed something better suited for the job, and that wouldn't possibly shatter. This metal device does the job and is very nice to hold and look at. It's packaged as a gift and looks the part. Just one more little kitchen tool we needed to do things the right way.

This is soooo much better than a handheld garlic press. Easy to clean, easy to use, and minces garlic like butter!

Good alternative to a garlicc crusher.

The media could not be loaded.  We have only had garlic presses that resemble a small 'hopper' in which you place the garlic, then there's a handle with a lever that you have to squeeze tightly to force the garlic through a kind of grater base. It's incredibly difficult to get the garlic through, is a devil to wash, and more often than not we resort to using a cheese grater.I saw the KINGTUHUA Stainless Steel Garlic Press and initially wondered how it might work. It was an elegant shaped device but there was no mechanism, just small holes on a bowed metal shape.Well, to cut a long story short, I ordered the KINGTUHUA Stainless Steel Garlic Press to give it a try. The thing that arrived looked like it had been sent from a jewellers! A lovely black box and inside a beautifully shaped stainless steel 'sculpture' (the best way I can describe it). Well, it looked really sleek and expensive. How would it manage the garlic though?It's actually a blissfully simple procedure. You place a garlic clove on a chopping board under the KINGTUHUA and simply 'roll' or should I say 'rock' the device hard on the garlic. The sturdy ergonomic handle on the KINGTUHUA lets you get a good amount of pressure and in no time at all you have rolled your way through several garlic cloves. The crushed garlic oozes through the many small holes in the KINGTUHUA device and you just scrape them off with a knife. It's simple and I am not saying that the principle is unique but we have never seen a garlic press that works in this manner. Very impressive.So, summing up. The KINGTUHUA Stainless Steel Garlic Press looks so gorgeous you kinda want to crush the garlic at the dinner table so that your guests can look on admiringly. In truth it's a well designed object that just happens to work well. It's definitely the way our garlic will be prepared from now on.I think that the price of around £12 is extremely fair, not only because of the lovely finish and shape of the garlic press but also the fact that it works extremely well. It's clever and beautiful. If you have never seen or used this method of crushing garlic then I recommend you try the KINGTUHUA Stainless Steel Garlic Press. You'll be pleased you did.
