Tested vs 2 other xlr cables
I’ve had an xlr mic for a while I use to livestream gaming and record videos. Audio makes a huge difference in quality. I started with my xlr mic and switched to a usb for the RGB lighting options but had to sacrifice some audio quality but gained some ease of use as most of the mixing switched from my analog physical mixer to a software based one. I switched back to xlr because I recently found a usb xlr mic with rgb. I decided to test out the old xlr mic with the new xlr cables(this one) vs 2 different older ones I had before. Long story short this xlr cable gave the best quality along side having a better connection set up and reinforced metal connectors and the additional flexibility and durability my older rubber and older pvc cased wires didn’t quite offer. I am 6ft tall and this cord went from head to toe measuring side by side. My only issue is that the braided cable is a bit too thick to fit inside the joint in my boom arms and still allow the mic to move freely when both are connected. Simply running the cord around the outside with the provided Velcro strap solves this problem. I would but more in the future when I improve my set up.

Silver cloth covered xlr cord
Some benefits: 1.It stays in place and connects securely 2.It is an attractive looking cable 3.All parts appear well made and sturdy. Some issues: 1.There is some low noise on the line that occurs randomly. If you wiggle the wire/adjust to a different angle, then the noise goes away. The defect is more noticeable in recording, but has also occurred live. 2. Levels are suppresed, or lower than usual with this cable. If you have a hot line, this could be a good thing, but if you'd like a good strong signal, it is softer than other types of xlr wires. I like the looks of this wire enough to put up with its quirkiness, but it would not be my first choice in a situation that I need a perfectly working cord.

Value for money. Decent cable
I have not used this for runs over 20ft, so it’s hard to review on that end. I used it for mixer to patch/ rack related wiring, and it worked fine. I don’t hear any noise issues in that area. It is easy to work with snd has a soft, thick, workable jacket. Will buy it again for short runs but will always stick with mogami for long runs, or- mic lines. It’s very cost effective and. Comes on a sturdy, easy to pull reel.

Well made cable.
Not only is this a good looking cable (if you are into that sort of thing) but it is well made. I appreciate the smooth 2.5" spring strain reliefs on the back of each connector in addition to the internal strain relief. The back of the jacks can be unscrewed without tools, to allow you access to the terminals. The wires are of a good sized gauge. The solder joints were properly done, and properly trimmed, although they rely on the solder to hold the wires in place instead of inserting them through the pin holes for a solid mechanical connection. Despite this, I would expect them to hold up well under use. (I might take away a quarter star if I could.) The cable itself is well behaved, doesn't kink easily. It will coil very nicely when your gig is done. I am happy with my purchase and will by this type of cable again.

Amazing microphone cable
This is very good microphone cable. 300 feet is plenty for making many of TRS and XLR cables, and it comes in at a very good price of $91.98. The price per foot is unbeatable. It's not that fishnet shield knockoff crap, either. It's a real braid all around, and the dimensions are exactly what all TRS and XLR connectors are designed around. The thickness will make it fit great. It's all real Copper, easy to work with, and tins great. Of course, it's easy to melt the wire insulation when tinning, but I think my iron was just too hot at 350°C. You don't need higher quality stuff for balanced, and this already is extremely high quality. I highly recommend. If you can afford it, get multiple rolls. It's still a better price than competitors. You'll have to order thousands of feet from people who don't sell to the public to get a better value than this.

Great Value for Custom Cable Projects
I needed to make custom cables for a church setup, and this cable works great. While it’s not Mogami, it’s reliable and gets the job done. I’ve used it for various applications, including 75-foot runs, short 15-foot cables, and a custom flypack. So far, I haven’t had any issues. A solid choice for flexible, affordable cabling needs! Only real thing I was not a fan of is the cable can be stiff at 1st.

Quality product
Mine's lasted 3 years, although it's not like I've moved it much or even switched mics more that a few times.

I bought a shorter length that they don't seem to offer any more for use at my desk. It's far from a physically demanding environment so I can't comment on how well they will or won't hold up to long term abuse if you're using them in that way but they feel really nice and I love the spring strain relief. Most cables just use a little rubber bit and I feel like this is a lot more effective. They're stylish too imo, if that can even be a thing, and if you care.

Está muy bien para el precio. El material es flexible y la sección del cable es suficiente para obtener cables de calidad bastante aceptable.

The cable is pliable enough to pull through conduit and was easy to solder XLR connections to. I’ve used 2 x 300’ rolls with no issues and ordered another just to have in stock.
