These are adorable!!! They have a magnet attached to the back of the body, but they also come with these sticky backings you can put on them. I bought two different packs of butterflies (these, and another one linked at the end of this review) and they were both great and I would recommend them equally.I bought them to use on a Lady Gaga concert outfit. I used the sticky backings to make them stick to the mesh skirt I bought (link at the end). By the end of the concert, my friend and I had a bit of a butterfly graveyard at our feet, BUT these weren't made to be stuck on mesh skirts, so I don't think that's anything negative on the product. For the top of my outfit (I bought two mesh tops and now can't remember which one I ended up using, so sorry—no link), I used the butterflies but attached them with small magnets (link at the end) and these worked perfectly and stayed on the whole night.I used the leftover butterflies on other magnetic things throughout my apartment and they've stuck very well! I bought this to decorate our office department. They have magnets or stickers. 3D and great colors. Tons of value for many - we had more than we knew what to do with and everyone desk space is so bright and cheery! Stickers are a little weak - so I’d use the magnets or get slightly stronger “stickers” to go with. But still worth the cost!

They are pretty and stay stuck on the wall.

The media could not be loaded. This butterflies are absolutely gorgeous. I was slightly concerned that they might look a little “cheesy”, but the bright colors and different butterflies types add an amazing and adorable display of colors. Super vibrant. The magnets work really well if you have a strong metal surface, it might not go in every single metal though. The only reason I give this 4 stars is the sticky pads: some of them don’t hold up on the wall, the sticky part dries out and butterflies start falling over. I definitely recommend using mounting putty to place them on walls which is much more reliable if you don’t want to re-do your work. Overall, extremely pleased.

Purchased these butterflies for a four year old boys room. He loves them. They are all different colors and sizes. From a distance they are realistic looking. They adhered easily to a painted wall. They left no residue or marks on the wall. Great value, arrived timely, well packaged and would buy again. Thank you

I bought these to decorate my drab office bulletin board by my desk and I was amazed at how nice they are for the cheap price of less than $10 and you get 72 of them. In the bag, you get a mix of pink, blue, purple, red, yellow, and green butterflies with different designs. The material feels like a thick, glossy paper and the bodies are made of plastic. Each butterfly has a small magnet on it and will stick to magnetic surfaces. They also come with stick tape squares for them, but the adhesive is cheap and didn't work well for my purpose, so I just use a dot of hot glue to make them stick to the bulletin board.I had a lot left over, so I decided to buy a grapevine wreath at the craft store and hot glue the butterflies to the wreath and it turned out beautiful! These are great for decorations and arts and crafts!

The butterlies are ok. They are cute. Theyre magnet, which I was unaware of. But the cheap little stickers they send with these butterflies is worthless. They DO stick to the wall with no problem but they do not stick to the butterflies themselves!

I was a fairy for halloween and needed some butterflies to complete the look. I got these because there was a great variety in color, great value and there aren't pins (like I saw in similar amazon listings). To my surprise, the wings were light durable plastic with magnetic backs. The magnetic backing didn't impair my intended use whatsoever, they actually made application much easier. The butterflies themselves are even more beautiful in person with so many different types- they all look semi realistic! I stuck the butterflies on my clothes and body with lash glue, but there were a TON left over. I read that the stickers used for wall application weren't sticky so I used lash glue (again) to stick some on my walls! I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS, none have fallen and they've been up for weeks. I still have probably 40+ left! They exceeded my expectations and I would definitely repurchase!

Unfortunately the sticker not enough strong to hold the Butterflys they keep falling down every day. I do not recommend.
