Cocoa: A Living History Paperback – January 1, 1997

My family came to Cocoa in the early 1940's. However, through this comprehensive, well written book I gained a wealth of knowledge I had never been exposed to or was aware of. It was amazing to relive the lives of the founding citizens of my hometown through their own "eyes" by the skillful writing of the authors to blend the diary entries, letters, and spoken words seamlessly into a story. Cocoa: A Living History is beautiful testament to the lives that shaped our part of Brevard County and Florida's history along with the nation's history.

I discovered thisbook while staying in an Airbnb home in Cocoa, Florida prior to a cruise from Port Canaveral. If one enjoys reading about "the old Florida" this book should not be missed!
