I use hair masks on a regular basis due to thick, long curly locks. When wet, it's down to my waist, so a decent amount of hair.This kit includes two masks and a cap. The masks are each sealed in a bag, a plastic cap with a sticker to hold it tight around your head. As per the instructions, I shampooed and towel dried my hair before winding it up and putting the cap on. I massaged it into my hair and leisurely read for 15 minutes while waiting for it to soak in.First impression? The scent is so unpleasantly strong on opening the bag that I started a coughing fit. But I promised to review, so I continued. The part that touched my forehead turned icy hot from a menthol sort of ingredient - I tried to read the ingredient list to find out, and gave up as there is A LOT packed into these. Admittedly, I wasn't enthused at this point and couldn't tell if there was actually enough hair mask included to cover all of my hair.Back into the shower to rinse out - where I also got to test the detangling portion of the performance. Pleasant surprise, there was absolutely enough for my hair, which was reasonably covered for the idea of "slap this on and rub it in." The shower distributed it more throughly, and combing it out was easy, leaving me with sleek hair.I was more excited about the cap, as I've heard that sort of drying is great for curls. I used it briefly, as suggested, while continuing my routine. It removed excess moisture while keeping my hair from dripping, which is lovely. I wouldn't have figured out the twist and attach to the button, so that was good information.Overall, it works, but I'd prefer to go with a bottle of hair mask that doesn't take as long and doesn't have as strong of an aroma, or menthol.

This mask works great. I did not expect it to come with a quality hair wrap, which I have continued using since the treatment. GREAT DEAL.

So let me first talk about results. They did make my hair feel really soft after using! However, I didnt really feel like the effects lasted after my next wash. Also I have only used it that once, so maybe it takes more than one application to use.So like other reviewers have been saying its a bit of a tedious process unless you like long showers. You must use on freshly shampooed hair and then put it on.. leave it on for another 15minutes and then rinse again. So the entire process takes like 30 minutes. Now if you take a bath.. maybe its not that big of a deal because you can relax while it soaks in. I did have some minimal trouble with the caps but ultimately I got it to stay on... Also curious if I have a large head.. but they did stay on.Overall Its a nice treat that I will do again before an event where I want my hair to look soft and silky.

The positives are that it rinsed out nicely, and my hair did feel nice and soft and bouncy after it was dry, but about the same as how it feels after using a good conditioner. Today, the day after I used this, my hair and scalp still feel fresh.What I didn't care for is probably more of a matter of my laziness and conservation, and a couple other things... I like to take a shower, wash and condition my hair, rinse off, comb out and dry off, and be done with it all! Using this mask didn't quite call for that, or not at least in this sequence. You have to wash your hair first to then use this mask, which is fine but you leave this on for at least 15 minutes, so that means you need to take a looooooong shower while you wait for it to do its thing. OR, You wash your hair (which I only do in the shower), put this on, walk around (wet or dry) for 15 minutes and then get back into the shower to wash it off... this is like 2 showers in a row for me, and that just eats up too much time, and water! Perhaps someone who washes their hair outside the shower, or someone who takes a longer bath, might not have a problem with showering and drying off twice... but hey, it is winter here, and cold in this house, so this was not fun.I also had a hard time with the cap with the mask inside supplied.I pulled my wet shampooed hair up to put the cap on, but, of course gravity takes over, so the hair wants to flop back down and come out of the bottom of the cap, and pushing wet hair back up into the cap was not easy. And, the fact that the cap was wet did not allow the adhesive closing strip to hold the cap shut, so out falls the hair again... I solved this by getting some waterproof medical tape and using that to close the cap, and that helped. Only then was I able to do the next step of massaging the mask into the scalp and hair, under the cap.The other thing I didn't like, and this is a word of caution, when you pull the cap off to rinse out the mask solution on the floor of the shower is very slippery until it washes down the drain. I mean really slippery, so use extreme caution while standing there!I had this at 4 stars, but I did pull this down one more star becasue I think it is too pricey. That part of this review is totally up to you! The product is pretty good... I guess with all my complaints the old adage sticks... "It hurts to be beautiful!"

This is a kit that would be fantastic if the hair mask just came in a normal pouch or tube, but instead it is a literal plastic bag with a conditioner slathered inside. This is nonsense because you can't work it through the hair to the center but rather only the exterior of the hair is actually getting mask put onto it. Beyond that, the mask causes the bag to slip and slide all over as you're trying to wind the hair up into it, so it doesn't stay on well. Maybe it works great, but it fell down over my head so many times I gave up and rinsed it out. Seemed to be just about as hydrating as any other basic conditioner.The nicest part about the kit is the head wrap, but I do wish it were more absorbent and a little easier to adjust. I actually use it to wrap my hair in at night and it worked really well for that, but I wish it soaked up more, like a towel. Either way it did keep my hair super smoothed and defrizzed, so the kit itself isn't worth it for the conditioners, but the wrap is definitely something I'll be reusing again and again.
