Nice little set for guitar set up, comes with almost everything you need to set up/maintain your instrument.

Comes with everything you could ever need for setting up a guitar/bass, but there are no feeler guages to check string action.

THE GOOD BITSIt’s cheapIt’s not filled up with the sort of stuff people who know nothing about guitars, fluff up their kits with. Such as cheapo plectrums making up the item numbers in a tool set. Or 6 x strings, electric guitar; cheap, nasty, and junk if you play only classical.The fret crowning file seems fine. The ruler starts at zero. The Fritz card is legible. Signs of stamping on the fret-wobbler – but no burs and it checked out as flat. The string winder’s fine and the cutter on it cuts strings. The adjustable length of the slim shaft screwdriver is very useful. The tiny files are great for nut / bridge slot adjustment.THE WEIRD STUFF“Tip Cleaner use for a cleaner drill” – is this ‘Chinglish’, or something that’s been repurposed? Whatever it is, the round files start at circa 1.5mm dia. and get smaller. There’s also a flat file: I found the set useful for tidying up a nut slot.THE BAD STUFFBoth the metal fret fingerboard guards had multiple burs. Rather than protect the fret board, any movement in use, with any pressure, they’ll damage it, or you. In places these were razor sharp. Guess the sort of redress you could achieve when they ruin the smooth glossy lacquer on your maple fretboard.The ‘tip cleaners’. These handy little files have pointed or squared ends. Except one where the square cut end wasn’t; it had a blob of hard metal on one side. Draw that through a bone nut slot and it’ll create a gouge. So rather than improve the smooth flow of a string through the nut, it’ll make it worse.EXTRAS I’D HAVE LIKEDMore (smaller) hex keys. Such as the ones for adjusting string height at the bridge on Stratocaster style electrics.A simple ‘v’ slot style guitar spanner.A fine flat ‘stone’ for fret finishing/polishingA Ph0 screwdriver bit for those tiny screws.A feeler gauge.WHAT WAS IN THE KIT THAT I DIDN’T WANTThe radius gauges. I have no radiused fretboards. Would I attempt to make any adjustments to a radiused (or compound radiused) fretboard? No way. But I would optimise bridge adjustments.Is there a need for both a round and a semi radiused taper tipped file?CONCLUSIONThis is great value for money. However in places it’s badly finished to a degree that will damage your guitar. Check every tool before use, and either fix the defective ones, or get rid of them.

Always like to have some "Travel Tools" when away from the workshop, perfect if i need to do a tweak on the road, & saves opening the workshop if a quick touch is reqired on a costomers guitar.Case zip is fiddly but does the job, The crowning file isnt the best, there are many types & sizes but as a "quick fix" tool its proved useful.

Tools all seem usable.

There is absolutely nothing to like about this repair and set-up kit. I fail to see how any company would produce something so useless, damaging and completely unacceptable, regardless of the cost. Every metal component contained in this kit is highly likely to damage your guitar. Please don't consider buying this item under any circumstances. it really is the worst product I have ever seen.

Very good quality. Everything you need to service your guitar.

Love the inclusion of the fret Rocker, everything you need is in here, at least for a carry case, it's literally bulging with equipment..Not expensive, & well worth it, don't buy the cheaper ones,if it doesn't have a fret Rocker it's not complete, at least as far as I'm concerned. Love it.

Hat alles dabei was ein Semi-Professioneller Gitarrenspieler benötigt um die Action, Intonation, Tuning, Fredwork und viele weitere Dinge justieren bzw. bearbeiten zu können.Die Feilen und Stegeinlagen-Tools alleine waren bis dato jeden Cent wert m.M.n.
