This book is full of WIN! Seriously, Dude, read it
I cannot even begin to describe how awesome this mind-bending book is. It had me glued to every page, wondering what was going to happen next! Sooo many twists and turns. You never knew what was going to happen next. You will love this book. It is such a fun, exciting romp, and it really makes you care about the characters.I can't wait til David Wong's next book comes out in October! He is such a good author! His prose is like a punch to the gut, but a funny one. I am picky about books; I like them plot-heavy, and I'm tired of the same ol', same ol'. But this book is super original and creative, just like John Dies at the End. Which is another book you absolutely must read, because it is arguably more twisty, gut-punchy, and hilarious than this one! The movie is also great! Read the book first, though. That is what my husband and I did, and we loved the movie to death. But we recommended it to a friend, and he watched it without having read the book, and he said it was convoluted and hard to figure out what was going on. But if you read the book first, it fills in the gaps perfectly. That is what happens when a 500-page book is adapted into a 90-minute movie. Some content has to be left out. It should've been made into several movies, like Lord of the Rings. :) These books are both horror, and I normally will not touch the horror genre with a ten foot pole. But I make an exception for these books, since they are just so epically, mind-meltingly awesome!

Great Read
I read John Dies at the End years ago and really liked it, but, for some reason, never continued on with Wong's other books. I'll be remedying that immediately. Spiders is quirky, funny, terrifying and touching all at once. The two main characters are the very definition of the modern everyman, and the plot is gloriously nonsensical.

seriously dude.... touch it ._.
This book is full of spiders is a sequel to John dies at the end.whether you read the first book or not the sequel doesn't really leave out much without eplaining anything that occurred in the writers last novel. though don't get me wrong... There are a lot of what the f*uk moments in the book that by the time you're finished reading this book you're going to want to read John dies at the end(which also has a lot of what the f*uk moments). If you've read and enjoyed the first book then you can still expect the hilirairious and scary moments. This book is full of spiders is definitely (in my opinion) more suspenseful and cringing. A fun read from beginning to end. Yay

A perfect read even if you've not read the first installment.
I was reading through this book and literally dropped it from laughing too hard on PAGE 4. Perfect blend of horror and absurd comedy and the lead character is a great partner the ride shotgun with through this insanity. (Spoilers: there may or may not be spiders in the book)

its worth the 2 bucks in kindle!
After watching the movie John Dies at the End.. I decided to grab this off kindle for 2 bucks as opposed to the original book; All I can say is WOW; this is hands down one of the best books I've read since Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.. once you seen the movie you can picture all the main characters in the book and create your own movie.. about a 7 hour read, and compare the read to watching John Dies at the End, while playing Resident Evil AND DOOM combined!.. yes.. its that good.. kinda plateaus off mid book but you get my drift.

This Book Consumed My Life...
Well, while this book didn't necessarily consume my life, it definitely consumed a day of it. This was the first book that I've picked up and read the entirety of within a single day, and I did so because it's such an amazing book! I actually enjoyed it more than its predecessor "John Dies at the End" which is really saying something, because JDatE has by far been one of my all-time favorite books. This book, however, kept me on edge and constantly wanting to know what happens. The characters and their development are also fantastic, and I even felt emotionally invested in them throughout the novel.I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Dude... Touch It!
More amazing adventures of David and John. I could read about these characters forever. I am especially fond of the realistic ways they respond to the madness of the events taking place around them. No one discovers they were secretly a hero all along. What is messed up remains messed up. When something is so absurd that it is funny John openly laughs at it. I read this book after watching the movie "John Dies At The End" but before reading the novel. Taking them out of order loses nothing. This is a sequel that can stand alone, but if you love it as much as I did then why not indulge in the other book as well?

Okay Alright
I loved the first book so I had to read this one. I felt that the characters Dave and John were a bit off in this book compared to the last. They just didn't seem to have the same personalities. The book itself didn't feel like it even correlated correctly with "John Dies at the End." With that said, I still enjoyed this book. It was action packed with plenty of strangeness and humor. Not as good as the first but definitely a must read for the lovers of the original.

I feel sorry for anybody who hasn’t been introduced to this author
This guy. This is the guy. If you’re going to read anyone, this is the guy. Also should definitely check out “futuristic violence and fancy suits” by the same author. If you like violence and you like to laugh that’s the book for you.

That's generally a good sign that you've got a good book in front ...
One of the only books I've read that have actually made me laugh in the first five minutes of reading it. That's generally a good sign that you've got a good book in front of you.
