It fit my laptop and seems to be working fine. It did take me a year or so to install it, but that was my laziness.

What's not to like? Installed easily, fits well, and works. Time will tell on longevity, but it looks as well made as the original. Affordable fix for an old laptop we found in a storage unit.

Good fit but not perfect I put this replacement keyboard into an older HP Pavilion G7, and overall it worked, but not without a few hiccups. The layout is the standard US style, and the keys feel fine—no sticking, no odd spacing, and typing is as responsive as you’d expect from a budget replacement. The black finish matches the laptop’s look well, so once installed, it doesn’t stand out as an aftermarket part. The installation was fairly straightforward since it comes with the frame. That said, I noticed that the fit wasn’t quite as snug as the factory original. A corner needed a bit of coaxing to sit flush, and the plastic feels slightly thinner than HP’s original part. It’s not a deal breaker, but worth noting if you’re picky about the build feel. Function-wise, everything works—keys register, no dead spots, and the ribbon cable lined up easily with the connector. Still, I wouldn’t call it OEM quality. It does the job and brings life back to a laptop that would otherwise be useless, but if you’re expecting the same heft and sturdiness as the factory keyboard, you may be a bit underwhelmed. Bottom line: A solid and affordable replacement that gets your HP Pavilion typing again, but don’t expect the same durability or precision fit as the original.

My old keyboard had buttons that weren’t working right anymore and my WiFi button wouldn’t connect. Not sure if it was keyboard or WiFi card. I replaced both at the same time and now everything works.

Good replacement for the money. Close to same feel as original just a little off. The print is a little different than original but is all correct. Good quality and fit for a hp pavilion g7.

This was easy to install and works well. This was really an inexpensive solution to poor typing caused by a defective keyboard.

Keyboard arrived in bubble wrap and box. Attached to my laptop and it doesn't fit. Bumpy here and there. All keys work semi decent but even the labeling on keys are different fonts and sizes. Labeling on keys also appear to be faded and most are off center. Cheaply made piece of junk. Do not buy!
