I bought this for my daughter's twin mattress. It is soft, comfortable, and seems to be well made. What I noticed that raised my eyebrows was the MADE IN INDIA tag. I didn't confirm that it was made in the U.S. before purchasing, but I assumed it since it said certified organic. Lesson learned. I know that the organic certifications have some loopholes and credibility problems in Asia, especially in regards to "organic" food. Not saying that's the case here, but just a general FYI to those who like to know.

This mattress pad is wonderfully thick and soft and very well made. I now have two of them. I ordered one a few years ago for one of my children's beds, and was so impressed with its quality. My other child would climb into her sister's bed with this mattress pad on it, and she'd say, "Oh, her bed is SO soft!" She claimed it had magical powers because she was always falling asleep in her sister's bed. I told her it was because of the plush mattress pad on it. She liked it so well that she wanted to use her Christmas money to get one. It just arrived, so we washed and dried it and put it on her bed. After sleeping on it, she declared it was the best night's sleep she'd ever had and said, "It's so soft and cushy; it's like a whole new bed!" The one that I've had for years has been washed multiple times and has held up beautifully. I always air dry it as it's so thick it would take a long time to dry in the dryer. I love that there's no weird smell or off-gassing from it, and I love knowing my children aren't breathing in toxic chemicals or pesticide residue that's on most cotton. I can't wait to get myself one of these mattress pads!

The quality is very nice, but the fit is lousy, even after washing. It's just too big for a Cal King and after a couple of days sleeping, it gets bunched up in sections and I have to dismantle the bed to re-tighten it everywhere. Unless you have one of those crazy tall mattresses, be prepared for a rumpled messy looking bed.

We bought a new bed. We had a California King and bought a King so we needed new sheets, duvets, mattress pad, etc. The only item we purchased that was not a disappoint was this mattress pad. It fit!! Something as simple as fitting became a major issue. The sheets were European King, the duvet barely covered the King bed.. but this mattress pad was the piece de resistance. Beautifully made, fit perfect, and worth the expense! We only put it on the bed this afternoon but we love it!

Another quality product from Organic Textiles, this mattress pad is well made and beautifully quilted, durable and soft. Perfect fit, even on a very high mattress and stays in place with the fitted elastic bottom nicely. I also like the unbleached, natural color of the fabric and are impressed that the top AND bottom layer are both organic cotton with smooth organic cotton fiber fill. (I found that most of the mattress pads on the market advertised “organic” are cotton filled with polyester.)All in all, a great buy, little pricy, but well worth it.Only one suggestion for improvement to add 1” extra padding all around so the pad would stay true to size after machine washing and drying, because mine shrunk quite a lot.Besides quality, I appreciate the integrity of this seller, the clear description of their product features and specs, without babbling and vague statements. You don’t have to scroll down and up numerous times to figure out the details. What you see is what you get, and I mean that as a huge compliment.

After 3 washes, the filling mounded into balls making it uncomfortable to sleep on. Luckily, I didn’t wash it often so I got about 9 months of use out of it before having to throw it away. It also shrunk in the dryer significantly.

I have been sleeping on this mattress pad and sheet set purchased from the same seller for several weeks and am truly happy with the purchase. Both the pad and the sheets have been washed and dried and remain soft and comfortable. Both are of the highest qualty. The pad lies flat on the bed, is cool to sleep on and does not move. My previous mattress pad, although cotton and expensive, had polyfiberfill and was hot to sleep on. I wanted to try this pad but hesitated because of the reviewer who said it had brown spots after it was washed. I emailed my concern to the company and had an immediate response from Ian. He said tiny brown flecks may have occured since it is a natural, organic product and has not been bleached. I ordered the king size pad along with a set of sheets. The sheets have elastic all around the fitted bottom sheet and the pillowcases have a pocket to cover the pillow at the open end. I have not seen any tiny brown flecks in the mattress pad and am very pleased with the product and the service; I will purchase from this seller again in the future.

I wanted to sleep on this awhile before I gave my review. Buy it. I was sleeping on a very hard bed and could feel the stitching on the mattress even. I couldn't afford a new bed and needed something to hlep make this bed bearable. This was the solution. Just thick enough to provide padding without being too soft. I slept better and after several weeks sleeping on it, I can highly recommend it. It's machine washable. The mattress cover itself has a sateen finish to it which makes it seem very pretty all on it's own. I wouldn't hesitate to throw this down on the floor as a makeshift pallet if I happened to end up with unexpected guests and not enough beds to put them it. Organic cotton is great and very few people are allergic to cotton.My 2 year old also ends up in bed with me and this is thick enough that I feel it would contain any potential leaks or spills that may occur and then I can just wash it.Great buy, good price and does what it is intended for.
