*** UPDATE - (1 MONTH REVIEW) ***I did a lot of research to learn why our A/C was blowing hot air and was about to call a technician to troubleshoot it, since it went bad last month in August 2018 and was close to 100 degrees outside the house during the day and at night time it was 85 degrees inside the house while sleeping. I learned the capacitor went bad for one of our A/C units, so I ordered two of the same capacitors to replace both of them just in case our A/C unit for upstairs system goes bad since they both originally came with the house 12 years ago.Replacing these was actually extremely super easy and I thought it would be hard to do until I watched several videos on YouTube video on how to replace the capacitor. It took me less than 15 minutes for each unit and I just use standard tools to remove the cover plate and disconnect the capacitor. After flipping the power switch back on to the unit, I immediately felt cold air into the house and we finally had a good night of sleep in nice cool house!!!It has been over a month now and it's still working strong with absolutely no issue. I hope it last as long as our previous capacitor did. The first (4) pictures is what my original rusty capacitor looked like for both A/C units (don't mind my little dog, she loves to watch me while I work) and the last photo I cleaned the area before I installed the new capacitor.

The only reason that I did not give 5 star is that I do not want to mislead the potential purchaser think it can last 10 years as some original capacitor came with the new AC. My friend is a AC technician and he told me that This type of cheaper capacitor will only last 1-2years.

Everyone should have at least one extra capacitor on hand. These are a quick easy fix for most AC units going out. DON'T call an AC repair man, do it yourself quickly and easily with these! Find the replacement part for your unit and order them while your AC is working. You won't regret saving hundreds of $$$ having these on hand.

This fits perfectly. Make sure you check the capacitor on your unit for the right size. Take a pic of the wire configuration with your cell. If you installed it and your AC didn’t turn on then replace the fuses. Buy an extra one to keep around.
