This bento box is so cute, and it's the perfect size for younger kids. The largest compartment will only hold half a sandwich (see pic), which actually works great for my kid. The stainless steel piece is removeable as well, so you could fit a whole sandwich in the bottom piece, with a little room for extra.The entire box is leakproof, if a kid turns it over. But each compartment is not fully separated from the other, so the contents can spill over between compartments. This is best used for non-liquid items like cut up fruit, cheese cubes, or finger foods.The folding spork is functional but small. That's ok, for lunches or playdates. The handles fold up for easy carrying.The bag is thin and not insulated, but it does have a silver lining on the inside. I guess that's to reflect heat. It fits just this lunch box, and not much else.Overall, I really like this lunch box, but do note that it will only work for a younger child.

Got this for my almost-5-yr-old son's preschool lunch. I actually had a bigger one at first, but needed something smaller when my son got a stomach bug and started getting anxious about eating all of his food. Turns out this is a much better size for him overall and he does not complain about not having enough food. I also don't have to wring my head as much trying to find ways to fill the whole thing. I like how the stainless steel part comes out for easy cleaning. The only thing I wish this had would be partitioning that prevents spillage between the 3 sections. But I knew this going into the purchase, so I can't complain. The lid snaps tight and although I don't pack liquid food, I haven't noticed anything (e.g., juice from fruit) leaking to the outside and into the lunch bag.

This is smaller than I thought and a few times weve used it and unfortunately the container get lock and unable to open unless it's pry open with a knife...

The food get mixed together because the space that separate the food doesn’t hold the food in their own space hold.

my daughter said keep her food warm until she get to lunch time at school i heat up around 7:30am lunch time is around 11am so that’s good

Dont put hot water in the botton like they said . You kids will burn . Is not leak proof

It is cute and easy to open by small hands. However, the separation between compartments is not efficient and it all gets mixed, which means never ending complaints from the little ones. So I use it to pack lunches with only one type of food or bigger bites that would not get mixed.
