Health Concerns - SPZM - Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang Herbal Supplement - 90 Tablets

I used this product for hemifacial spsms for about 3 weeks. The recommended dosage was 3 tablets for 3 times a day. I started with 1 tablet as needed, for up to around 3-4 tablets per day. It seemed to have helped reduce my spasms, but after a week it went straight to my bowels. I thought that taking a low dose and eating a fiber cereal would regulate my digestive system. Boy was I wrong. I had to use the restroom a number of times per day, and sometimes very close to not making it. I immediately stopped using the tablets after the 3rd week, and it took about 5 days to get back on a regular schedule. Sure it might have helped my spasms a little, but it created a new problem that I was not willing to drag a toilet around. I would not recommend these, unless if you like having diarrhea.

This product is an absolute godsend!!! I have been suffering with hemafacial spasms for the last 5 years. I have tried multiple things and nothing has brought permanent relief. I have resorted to botox treatment's every 3 months and that usually does not do much.I have been researching the surgery that is available for this problem and that is when u learned about this product. I decided to give it a try because nothing was working. Well, this product worked like a miracle for me. I have almost 100% relief from my spasms. I don't know how long it will last but I will keep buying it as long as it works. I am forever grateful!!!!!

Here's the scoop. I bought this based on the reviews that had positive reviews for helping with HFS (Hemi-facial spasms.... those of you who have this, know what I'm talking about.. For others, probably doesn't matter.) I really despise taking pills of any kind, but thought I'd give this a try, since this condition doesn't have too many alternatives - and i really HATE the most popular option for HFS - Botox. Anyway, I started with just 2 tablets a day - one in the a.m. and one in the eve. They seemed to help for awhile (maybe about 6 weeks) The spasms didn't stop, but they were under control and tolerable. However, after about 6 weeks, they started increasing, so I increased (gradually) the dosage to a total of 4 tablets a day - spread out during the course of the day. Got up to the 4 tablets a day and got hit with what I thought was an intestinal virus....I felt fine... my bowels... not so good. Spent 8 days very close to the john with terrible runs and cramps. However, throughout this miserable time, I had no fever, no chills, fortunately no nausea, nothing else, so I put off going to the doctor. After reviewing everything else in my diet and my routine, I went back and looked at the reviews on SPZM and found several comments relative to diarrhea. So, I stopped taking the SPZM, and within 12 hours, I was well on the road to recovery. SPZM did help the HFS for me, but the sh***y side effects were definitely not worth the benefits. I'm totally better now and am going to try this again when needed. Right now the HFS is fairly well under control, so will wait before restarting the SPZM treatment. My advice --- proceed with caution.

I had a herniated disc and it pinched my sciatic nerve. Wow, worst pain of my life. Torturous! My acupuncturist had this for sale a little more expensive in her office, so this was a big win to find it on Amazon.

I have used Botox for 16 years to alleaviate the discomfort and distortions of hemifacal spasms. I have now become immune to the Botox and it serves no purpose. I had the MD surgery for hemifacial spasms in 2010, but have been told that since I waited so long to have the surgery, the myelin (protective coating on the nerve) has died. Therefore, I have had no relief from the surgery. I ordered this product to see if it would help relieve my hemifacial spasms. The first 2 bottles were supplied byNutritional Institute and I felt that I had gotten some relief, so I ordered another 3 bottles that were shipped from somewhere else. Within a week of taking this SPZM, I had severe diarrhea. I stopped taking the recommended dosage, "3 tablets, 3 times a day after meals". It took 10 days for my bile to get back to normal. At that time, I was told by a rep at Health Concerns in California to take a lighter dosage, which I did. The diarrhea started almost immediately after taking just 2 tablets in one day. Would love to know what I can do to get some relief.

I have HFS and had Botox, next step surgery..... I was researching online other solutions, I came across an article that mentioned SPZM that it releaved the spazams. I have taken this for the last 10 days..... Not only can I feel relief but my 8 year old said Mom your not winking all the time..... Seriously this has decreased my never-ending eye/face twitch atleast 90% I just ordered my 3rd bottle (my 2nd bottle was delayed due to christmas so I missed a day and had increased spasms.) I LOVE this product.... for the 1st time in YEARS i have slept through the night because I was not twitching....

These have helped stopped my muscle spasms in my neck and upper back and I take 3 in the morning and 3 at night! I swear by them!

My accupuncturist recommended this to me for cervical spondylosis neck and shoulder muscle spasms, at a dose of 3 tabs per, 3-4 times per day. I was skeptical, but have found that this product really works. It has shut off more than one painful muscle spasm at that dose. 2 tabs doesnt work as well. I do take other pain remedies like Tylenol Xtra Strength and prescription muscle relaxers or pain meds if needed, but I start off with this if I have a muscle spasm, as I prefer not to take the stronger stuff if a natural product will do the trick.Cant speak to hemifascial spasm, which may require something much stronger, such as prescription strength products like Zanaflex, but this product worked great for me, I have used it a few months now and am on my 5th or 6th bottle.
