The stainless steel blades include serrations to grip slippery materials and a power notch to make cutting bone easy. A spring-action design makes every slice smooth, while Soft grip touchpoints enhance comfort and control. When you're done cutting, simply take apart the blades and pop them in the dishwasher for a fast and thorough cleaning.

Rusting within a month.
Absolute garbage. Right at a month and these supposedly stainless steel kitchen scissors are already rusting. It's too bad because they are a good design and comfortable to use, even for large hands. One additional item that may be of interest to some of you: the serrations are for looks only. The blade is perfectly smooth. I actually prefer that, but if you are looking for serrated, these are not the scissors for you.If you don't mind rust or having to use Bar Keepers Friend on them then they are fine, but if you are expecting old school quality that won't rust and will last forever, look elsewhere.I'm disappointed in Fiskars on these. They know people are going to use them in a wet environment. How about using 304 or 316 stainless and charging accordingly instead of using this garbage stainless (likely 430).

They do what i need, very strong and sharp, easy to operate
I've never used a tool to cut food before, but i have some dog treats that are called turkey tendons which are dried long turkey tendons which my dog and many others are crazy about and depending on the dog, they are tough enough to keep the dog chewing for a while, 5 minutes maybe. But if i give too much, my dog's poop gets soft, harder to pick up and other inconveniences, and other reviewers have reported some real disasters after giving too many of these. In my case, one thin treat is fine, but the thicker treats (they aren't uniform, they vary treat to treat) seem to affect that poop issue, so i wanted to cut the thicker ones in half. i tried another tool, kitchen shears, and it didn't work, so i tried these and they totally work. The shears are pretty roomy for my hand, medium sized woman, and are loose yet i can hold them steady pretty effortlessly and just focus on putting enough pressure on them to cut through. Very happy witih them, they work good.

Chicken splitting made easy.
My other shears came with a knife set. They made spatchcocking a chicken a real chore because you have to put your fingers through the holes like scissors. These Fiskars shears are much easier to grip because your all your fingers fit through the hole and your palm is on the opposing side. They cut through chicken bones with ease.

Bought for my mom.
Bought these for my mom to use in the kitchen. She has arthritis and says it's easier to cut with than regular kitchen scissors. She says it takes a little getting used to though.
