I purchased this pillow to support my recovery after a breast lift and augmentation surgery. It's soft and supportive and has a nice bright purple, as shown on the product page.I used this primarily for two purposes. First, it was a safety barrier I could wrap around myself while sitting on the couch so that my 4 and 7-year old daughters could sit next to me safely. Second, I wrap it around myself in bed at night and it's really helpful for me to stay sleeping on my back, which has been the hardest post-surgery instruction since I am typically a side sleeper! I kind of tuck the sides in around my breasts and it helps protect them, and it helps block or slow me down if I accidentally start to turn over while sleeping. Lastly, five days after surgery I had to travel about 1.5 hours in the car and I used this to wrap around my chest for added protection from my seatbelt.The little clip did break off but I didn't use that anyway, so I wasn't worried about that.

Best post surgery pillow! So soft, so nice colors and very practical with pockets for your convenience. Had it after my breast reduction surgery, awesome to use in car rides to avoid the preassure from seat belts. Also recommend if you have pets.

I love this thing! It's not as "weighted" as I anticipated but that's OK since my surgeon said to not have too much pressure. She also wants me to heal naturally with no heat / cooling so I havnt tried the pack yet. But just having it over me as an extra layer of comfort / protection. There are pockes on the front and back which was nice surprise. I can hold my phone or medicine or walkie talkie to get my husband if I need help. I also think once I'm healed this will make a great lumbar support for my lower back and the ice pack will come in handy. It's super soft and comfortable and I'm very attached with it. It's the main thing I carry with me from bed to couch for a change of scenery. Plus I have youmh kids and animals that are used to climbimg all over me and this pillow protexts from u expected paws or hands enough to address the situation and get them to stop. I highly recommend!

Adjustability:Going into a surgery like this is had to take into consideration how easy or how difficult this would be to adjust. It's great. Easy to adjust, tick enough to protect the area and very comfortable. I highly recommend this mastectomy pillow.

This was very helpful after surgery. During the first several days after surgery, I used it in the car under my seatbelt, as a comfort while sitting around and especially when I went to bed. The only reason I rate it as a 4 is that the elastic belt came loose; however I never used the belt so it had no impact on my use.

i have just rec’d this pillow, so i don’t know yet how it will work in practice- but i do know, after trying it on & adjusting it that i am very relieved to have it on hand. i will be having a double mastectomy, & need something for added comfort, & to protect my new sutures from my small active pooch.i believe this will be a very important part of the healing process for me.i also rec’d the seatbelt cushion & the pocket that holds the drain bottles for showering. i know these will come in super handy.The pillow & seatbelt cushion are both so very soft- & they are machine washable! The pillow is particularly cushy & very light. i wear a 1X & there is plenty of leeway for adjustment.

So comfortable and convenient after surgery- provides much needed support and comfort

I dislike the fact I need it :)A relative swore that this is needed for post-surgery mastectomy recovery.But I tried a few of these and returned, and although I wish it was a bit longer than 11" for taller me, this was the only version with more substantial straps. I also preferred to have the shoulder straps option vs other models with only a front to back strap because I don't want to be constantly pulling it up and/or holding the 'pillow' around in place. The shoulder straps were important. I have not used it yet, as surgery is in 5 days so will let you all know after I use it!Here I am 2 weeks post surgery and this product was irreplaceable. It is comfortable and comforting. The pockets are handy and the lanyard for showering is also perfect. The straps are sturdy and thicker than the others I tried. I will give this a 5 star rating now.
