This simple but safe and effective switcher allows the connection of up to eight speakers to any stereo, even those without built-in speaker switching ability. Just one pair, all four pairs or any other switch combination can be chosen. Power rating (per channel) is 200 watts, so even large amplifiers are safe to connect. Assuming 8Ω speakers and dependent on the selection chosen, the connected stereo will never see a load lower than 4Ω or higher than 16Ω. Note that this model does not provide overload cutoff protection against shorts; be careful with your wiring and never make or change speaker connections while your stereo is powered up.
