Flimsy Plastic, Carabiners are Crap. Not a Long-Term Solution
I purchased this to record my kids' baseball & softball games. It arrived and I immediately noticed the plastic was thin and any overtightening (you know, to ensure your camera is safely mounted) or even a foul ball hitting bullseye will cause this to crack or snap.I used it for 2 games. The very first game, one of the carabiner locks flipped outward when the bungee was simply pulled taut. Not worth the almost 20 bucks! This is a last minute resort, not a long-term solution. If your kid plays ball, you need a fence mount that is a lot sturdier than this.FYI, google 'LynkSypder' if you want a heavy duty, long term mount. I bought one years ago and have recorded HUNDREDS of ballgames with it. It's an excellent chain link fence camera mount, but a little pricey. But then again, I've been using it for 7 years so I've got my money's worth out of it. I am no way affiliated with them, just offering a helpful 2 cents!I had 2 kids playing yesterday, so 1 got the trusty LynkSypder and the other I had to use this plastic contraption. I def feel like this one is on borrowed time lol.

It can do the job, but so can a single bungee cord…
I stream all of my daughter’s softball team’s games with a pretty elaborate camera setup, but I bought this to use when needing to stream on the go with a phone. The mount holds the phone pretty well, but one problem I’ve had is that no mater how hard I tighten the bolts the camera still twists and tilts in the mount. The main problem I have with this mount is the distance from the fence that the phone actually is is too far away and you are not able to get a clear view of the field with out getting large sections of the fence blocking the view. This can be corrected bey turning the mount around, but that caused two different issues when it comes to softball/baseball. The first being that doing this puts the phone right against the fence giving it no protection from a foul ball that comes straight back off the bat. Even though the fence is between the phone and the ball, I’ve seen the shock still break phone cameras and screens. The second issue in this configuration is that the phone screen is not easily accessible because the mount blocks it. This makes it difficult to control the video streaming program. This mount would work great in the backwards configuration with the phone pressed against the fence if you were using it on a fence of a sport that hard balls aren’t going to hit it like tennis, or in a sport where you can mount it inside the fence. But when it comes to softball/baseball to use it like it’s intended the camera is mounted too far from the fence to get a clear view of the field, and if you’re okay with mounting you’re phone pressed directly against the fence you can do that cheaper with a single bungee cord, and that would allow you to actually see the screen.

Not durable
As I tried to load my phone on the device, it broke. I do not recommend it. The springs are weak.
