Product Entrepreneur

The author does a great job of walking you through all the steps/stages necessary for developing a product oriented business. If you have thought about creating your own product, read this book first. As you make your way through the first few chapters you learn of ALL the pieces to the moving puzzle that will need to be considered when developing, launching and selling your product(s). Knowing the author's history (he is rather humble in the book) allows you to see where the knowledge has been gained. Running a multi-million dollar business, as the author does, gives you confidence in the knowledge he shares. This is not a "do this...but, I have never done it myself" tutorial type book. You are getting advice from a business owner that has been in the trenches and is still "winning"! Easy read with tons of nuggets of knowledge to all you to expand upon once you are done.

The author focuses heavily on marketing which I think is a good things. I have read a couple of other books mostly focus on product development without giving a full picture of how to market it online, building a brand. This book is what you need if you are first time entrepreneur. The author doesn’t go into very detail of each step which is a good thing. It might overwhelm readers. But he mentions all terms and actions need to take at each step. Excellent general guidelines.

This book is an amazing resource for anyone thinking about starting a business or honing a business they already have. The step by step structure of the book makes it easy to follow along or jump in and out of depending on your knowledge base of certain subjects. The anecdotes and real life lessons in the book are also really appreciated and a great reminder of the intricacies & realities of trying to grow a business. Overall a great read and highly recommend it. Bravo.

The author does a great job laying out the steps and best practices to be a successful entrepreneur. The advice is practical, actionable, and up to date. This book doesn't try to draw analogies from ancient times, it talks about what it takes to set up a company that works today with names of specific tools you can use to be successful. I'd recommend it to entrepreneurs in any stage of product development who are looking for a leg up.
