This is a well made pad that I purchased for the outdoor cat house I set up for the now-wild cat the neighbors abandoned. Leather and suede are great for keeping out cold and warming. However, WY winters are often single to negative double digits. A non-heated pad gets very cold when not sat upon, and undesirable to sit on when cold. I ended up using it as a base pad to insulate the cold from floor, with faux lambs wool blankets on top. The cat house has an infrared panel for heat and keeps top blankets warm, so the bottom pad can be functional. It is very well made, arrived quickly and works for my need.

I was looking for a mat so my car could lay in the sofa next to me and I wouldn't have to worry about her kneading or scratching the sofa. This mat is extra thick and fluffy and it works great! My cat loves it!

I feed a stray cat outside who can’t come in because my cat has a communicable disease. As soon as I saw temps hovering in the 30s, I knew I had to get him a house and a self-heating blanket. This one is vastly improved over what was available just a few years ago. Best of all, while I was assembling the house outside on a less cold day, I lay the mat on the bench, and “Wally” immediately jumped up and fell fast asleep. He has never gone on the bench before. This worked out great because when I finished assembling the house, he couldn’t wait to go outside. It’s soft, warm, and machine washable. I got the largest size so it would insulate and heat the wall also. Don’t waste hours reviewing like I did, just buy this one.

I purchased this as a comfortable pad for an outdoor cat to sleep on, placing it into a constructed wooden outdoor cat house. The pad is very nice. Love the removable outer cover, so we can wash it as needed. The pad is very soft, but there are slightly crinkly pieces of what look like foil on the inside of the actual inside pad. It's not too crinkly, and does not make a lot of noise, but I wonder if the outdoor cat will be repelled by any noise whatsoever. Otherwise, the pad is soft, appears to be quite warm, and we're hoping for the best.

We placed the little cat house with mat, under a large wooden table with a tarp. He's cozy and fed/fresh water three times daily until we get him calm for another few weeks and bring him to the vet and into our home with our other cats. Not too cold because we're in Southern California but the warming mat will help at night. Machine washable helps too.

I got this blanket for my outdoor cat. She is 11 yrs old. I have a nice little cat shelter for her and the blanket keeps her warm in the corner of the garage

This kitty was totally feral when she showed up. Now she’s a loving and affectionate sweetheart. She’s still a bit restless at night so she sleeps outside in a crate with blankets but I worry about her when it gets down in the 30* temps. As soon as she saw this bed she snuggled right down and went to sleep! She loves it. I’m amazed how guickly it felt warm after she laid down. Now I can sleep knowing she’s warm and comfortable.

The pet bed arrived on time and I’m very pleased with the quality, it is soft and cozy. Our two cats took to it immediately which was a nice surprise as they have shunned other beds that we’ve tried. The only issue we have is that they fight over it and we may need to order a second one :)

I absolutely love this product. I have a 16-year-old cat. That seems to be going downhill and I wanted her to have something underneath her where she would feel warm and cozy. She has arthritis and she is mostly blind and she seems to absolutely love it. She is on an outside in my room and I was worried that she was catching a chill. I am actually going to order another one for my 14-year-old cat because he has hip issues and I want to make sure he can lie flat and straight out and stretch instead of being curled up in a ball on a pillow. Well done!

Our cat loves this. It doesn't get very warm but maybe just enough. She likes the little bit of fluffiness it has to it too. If we move the mat she will still go find it to lie on.

I bought this bed for my adult black cat last fall. He always finds the place comfortable. I placed him next to my office chair for work because he usually sits there often. He has taken to it and seems to love it. His sleep seems good and deep. I bought another one as a gift for my sister-in-law's cats and she says they love the bed too. I bought a second one later for the living room. No regrets, good purchase!
