I needed a replacement pump for my cats water fountain. Im tired of buying whole new fountains because the pump gives out. I found this pump here on Amazon after my most recent cat fountain pump died after only one month. This arrived super quick and I had it up and running in seconds. I did have to turn the pump down as I had it turned all the way up and it over shot the bowl. It's one of the most quiet pumps I have had so far. I don't know how long it will last, but will be back to revise this review if it doesn't last more than a couple of months.

Works with the npet water fountain BUT I needed to take the little rubber tube off of the old motor and attach it to the spout of this one to get the vacuum seal it needed. This one also seems a bit louder than the one it came with, but it was cheaper than buying an npet branded fountain motor and it works, so I'm happy

Lasted all of 8 days. It was still under water when it died. I had another one that lasted way longer but died because an animal fished it out of water( they need to be underwater). This one worked butt never as good as ones I owned in the past, just thought this one was a weaker model than the others bit it died so fast it may have just been a lemon to start with since this same brand has lasted well in the past.

I was concerned that the pump would be more powerful than the one used in the flower fountain because it might spray water too high. This pumps actually works perfectly, once you position it correctly. It has 4 suction cups so it does position accurately. The box says the following 3W DC 3.5-8V USB W. I'm not an electrician, so I don't know what that means, but it works in this fountain. Very gentle water movement. Quiet.
