Clean it out before using, the inside is covered with some mysterious substance.. Looks like leather, but it's entirely plastic (plastic stitches) it at least does what it's supposed to.

Despite being as big as a pack of 100s, which is pretty large for something advertised to hold ten cigarettes, the inside is too small to hold a single 100 without bending it.

Addressing other reviews. Plastic smell can be fixed by just submerging it into a warm water with a fair amount of Dishwasher fluid in it. Smell will be gone forever. Opening mechanism works fine, people claiming it turns cigs into projectiles prolly got a defective one with tighter friction. Can be fixed see bellow. Best way to out cigs is to open it and place it horizontally, as opposed to holding it vertically. Put 5-6 in, close, give it slight shake, open add 4 more. Done. Also I didn't like the friction so I torn it down and lubed moving parts with virgin olive oil. This will prevent plastic wear. Minus one star because this is a product from Aliexpress which costs 4 bucks there and comes with a lighter. Also, there are more color options. Otherwise it’s the best looking and feeling cig holder out there.

Holds up well carried in front pocket still going strong.

Waste of money.
