Pretty good ballet shoe & it's Capezio
I've started adult ballet (exercise) and needed some ballet shoes. I've never ordered shoes off internet before because I am hard to fit. I went ahead because I needed them immediately and the price was right. They came in exactly on time. I ordered an 8.5 medium (using some of the reviewer comments). My street shoes are usually medium to wide around the ball/toes and super narrow on the heel, and typically 8.5 in American made, but can range from 7.5 - 8.5 with others. These Capezio ballet slippers fit pretty well. Too wide at ball (and arch) of foot. I've pulled the elastic strings as tight as possible and that has helped. They fit pretty good, pulled tight for me to wear in class, but still a bit loose at the arch. They are a bit tight at the toes (length), but I expect them to loosen slightly with wearing. The way we are working in class, I imagine that I will need to purchase again. The next time I purchase Capezios, I will order 8.5 regular. I am pleased with the purchase and the quality.

Capezio 7.5 versus Bloch Dansoft 4.5
Needed nude tone shoes for my daughters 5th grade musical and I ordered both the Capezio Daisy and the Bloch Dansoft. My daughter's foot length is 8.75ish inches, she wears street shoes medium width kids 4.5 / ladies 6.5. So I order according to reviews and / or charts. For the Capezio I ordered the 7.5 and a Bloch 4.5. Both are very good shoes,. The uppers are soft leather, the soles are suede, both outside length from heel to toe is about 9 inches, both has the tie bow to tighten. The differences you can see in my pictures. The color of the Capezio is more nude tone (Bloch is more pinkish), the inner sole is cloth material (whereas the Bloch inner sole is suede), the outer sole is longer than the Bloch and the top of the Bloch shoe is a tad wider. I think on both shoes I could have gone a size smaller or narrower and it would still fit. But I'm going to keep the Capezio and return the Bloch not because the Bloch is not a good shoe (it is very good and comparable) but because the color of the Capezio (nude) fitted our needs better and the fit of the Capezio felt less loose on her foot. Price was within a $3 difference ($22 to $25).

Ballet slippers
After reading the reviews I ordered one size larger than my regular size and they fit well.

These aren't for me, I guess
I bought both size 6 wide and 7 wide and neither seem right for my foot. The size 6 fits all but seem to short and the size 7 I have to pull the laces tight until I they cut into my heel. The size 5 Dance Time I bought years ago still fit great...apparently Dance Time no longer eists as a brand. Too bad because Capezio is an excellent brand.

Order normal show size
I followed the reviews that said to order one and a half sizes bigger than normal and they were huge, but the workmanship and shoe was very nice. Just had to return for a different size.

Skip these - get stretch canvas instead!
I bought these for an adult ballet class and they do the job - but felt very stiff and looked a bit cheap. I ended up getting Bloch stretch canvas ones and I LOVE them. So soft and easier for turns too!

Figured sizing out finally, nice ballet shoe
We tried 7.5-9.5 Narrow. I had no idea what size to get. My daughter wears a 9 in on cloudgo running shoes. The 8.5 Narrow is the one that finally worked.

Cute beginner shoes
These shoes are adjustable (pull the elastic bow drawstring to tighten them) and they are well made and cute. Recommend them for adult beginner ballet.

Cómodas y lindas
The media could not be loaded.

These fit street sizes
I ordered a size up based off the reviews but they were a size too big. After checking capezio’s size charts, I have found out that the daisy shoe fits street sizes. Reordering in my (hopefully) proper size.

Great service
Excellent customer service. These ballet shoes tend to run on the small side. Had to exchange for a larger size and received the exchange the next day. Everything went smooth and easy. Definitely recommend.
