Front Outer Screen Glass Panel for Moto G 3rd Gen G3 XT1540 XT1548 With Frame Tape-White

This is only the items pictured, NOT A FULL LCD SCREEN REPLACEMENT. I purchased because I thought I had just cracked my glass and the LCD underneath appeared to be fully functional. I was able to remove my screen+lcd combo with the tool kit provided, playing cards, and a hair dryer; it took me about 15 minutes to work my way around to loosen it and heat it fully. Unfortunately I found that my lcd was dented, so I couldn't reuse it. So I did not perform the really difficult step of removing the old shattered glass and glue (planned to use razor blade/fishing line, tweezers, and oil). I do like that they included the adhesive (the black portion) to replace the lcd in the phone after you attach the new screen. In short, if you are going to take your phone apart and you are sure that it is just the screen AND you have the time and patience to replace the screen on the lcd, then this is a good product for you (and it's super cheap). Although you may end up with a half done job waiting on new parts if your lcd portion is damaged... just depends on if you think it is worth it or not.

I received a Samsung part

I expected a full screen replacement, and instead got glass, just glass - in addition to a few tools that I used when I received what I needed (in a second order). I would help to offer full disclosure that this is not a screen replacement; it is only a glass replacement. I don't know why you'd ever use one of these, because when your screen breaks, the whole unit is useless.
