The Dolphin Tracker only works with the phone it is originally paired with and you have to be within bluetooth range so it can connect to your phone. It will not connect to anyone else's phone like AirTag does. Not sure what it is really good for.

Stopped working or locating it at about 3 months.My app spent more time trying to connect ear buds that I did not even had.

It is the most helpful little gadget. I love for its quality and design. It has several features, it gives the location, allows it to ring. I am satisfied with the product and would buy again for security of my other valuables. Also love how sleek it looks and does not take away anything from the style quotient of the valuable it protects!

Only two of the four emitted a starting signal and then the app didn’t open. Kaput.Nothing. Blank. Waste of money.

This does not track your luggage like an Apple Airtag. I have no use for this product.

Update: 14/JanI am humbled and grateful to Tag8 service guys. Its been a month, and the guys followed up diligently and genuinely tried their best to resolve the QR code problem I was facing. They even replaced my tag with a new one. However, the problem seems to be with the iOS app. As a workaround, you can use an android app to register the tag and it works fine. I hope they release a fix for the iOS app soon. Adding one star back just for the wonderful customer service I received. Thanks for that!I got the dolphin tracker tag because I loved the concept of being able to tell if my cat is in the room/house. However every aspect of the tags implementation is flawed. I use the iOS app and it randomly and frequently doesnt ring the tag even when it is right next to it. This defeats the purpose of the tag in general. The QR code on the tag requires activation which doesnt work. The website it links to looks like it is under development & falling apart. I had to call the customer care to get the tag registered post which i got an email saying that my tag is registered. However, to this date scanning the QR code says the tag is not activated and i still continue to send screen recordings and follow up to atleast get the QR code activated. To summarize, the tag has ended up being an expensive QR code (if it eventually gets activated)

I wanted to use this for tracking my dog. Didn't work well for my needs:1. It connects to your phone via bluetooth. The range in which the device stays connected to the phone is very less. So, even if my dog is in the living room and my phone is in another room, my phone and the device attached to my dog start ringing after sensing the device going out of range. I only want to know if my dog goes out of the house.2. The last known location is pretty useless for my use case as the last known location is the place where the device got out of range and that is usually somewhere within my house. So, if my dog gets out of the house, that information is not of any use.3. Only thing that might be slightly of use is that in case my dog gets out and somehow I'm able to get within the device's range while I search the streets but I'm not able to see her, I can make the device ring from the phone.

It's my mistake that i didn't understand about the product clearly. If this tracker is missing, you cannot track back its live location. It will show last connected location only. But even though i am using this only for seperation alert.

I bought this tracker for my laptop bag, and it has been a game-changer. The tracker connects quickly to my phone and alerts me when I leave my bag behind. I also appreciate the loud alarm feature, which helps me locate my bag quickly in a crowded room. The tracker's slim design makes it easy toslip into my bag without taking up too much space.
