I used to think splinters were just nature's way of reminding you that you made poor life choices. Then I bought this kit. After spending five minutes trying to remove a tiny splinter with my fingernails, my phone flashlight, and what I can only describe as blind optimism, I finally opened one of these kits. The tweezers grabbed the splinter on the first try, and I was done in less than a minute. My dignity may never recover, but my finger did. I love that each kit is individually wrapped, so everything stays clean and ready to use. The tools are sharp, easy to handle, and there are 30 of them, which is great because apparently I have a hobby of touching rough wood without gloves. Now I keep a few in the garage, toolbox, kitchen drawer, first aid kit, and one hidden from my spouse, who somehow gets splinters just by looking at a fence. Excellent quality, super convenient, and a lot less painful than digging around with a sewing needle while pretending I know what I'm doing. If you're a DIYer, woodworker, or just someone who's constantly losing battles against lumber, this kit deserves a spot in your first aid supplies.

Okay, these are tiny, sharp, sterile things in little paper envelopes, and when I first saw the box, I thought it was a joke. Like ordering a chair and getting dollhouse furniture sort of scale for small. But, I had a teeny tiny metal splinter that I could barely see, and nothing was getting it, so I was willing to try. These are strangely perfect for digging out splinters! I can’t explain it, it just doesn’t hurt as much as a needle, and not having to do all the prep to sterilize the needle is great. I used three of them: one to dig a splinter out the first day, one to go after another remnant the next day, which I could still feel in there but not see, and one to show my sisters why they need to order some for their first aid kit. Seriously, teeny, no expiration date, and effective for what you need it to do? What more can you want?

When I saw on the advertisement of it being painless, I rolled my eyes and said to myself “there’s no way it’s actually painless. It’s just an advertisement gimmick” Nope. It 10000% is It’s thin enough it only goes through the skin layer and doesn’t puncture or push further than that. Great for getting splinters out

My toddler got a splinter in his foot, ordered these and got the splinter out no problem.

So far it has help get splinters out without as much pain as with tweezers, still need to try on my toddlers to see how they are. Usually it’s very dramatic…if it solves that I’ll give it extra stars. Before I purchased everyone was getter ng splinters now that I have these it seems like no one has them .

Sharp and works well

This is a great product. Every first aid kit should include a packet of these things. They really make quick work of household splinters.

Great for pesky, hard to locate metal splinters and deep wood splinters and stickers. Not absolutely painless, but as close as you can get.

I have already used this twice. This tiny package is great to have in your camping first aid kit. It is very easy to use, and super sharp. I was able to remove two splinter easily with minimal damage to surrounding tissue and no pain. You can simply bend the sharp end when disposing a used lancet so it’s no longer sharp.
