Brass ice scrapers are the way to go! They work better than anything else I've ever used. The only caution I'd give is to not be cavalier around paint. But on the glass, the ice will fly. Do you actually need six? Probably not. But you give them to friends and family, after you stock up your cars. They do last for years.

Good scrapers, just wish the handle is a bit longer.

You will never use a plastic scraper again! Will not scratch your glass.I still have my first brass scraper from 1993 and IT WORKS GREAT! (I live in Colorado, so it gets plenty of use)These things are dirt cheap. Give it a try.

Simple & effective.

These are the best; got one from Carquest about 30 years ago as a free promo item (used it on my 1970 Opel GT); the handle finally broke after 30 years of hard North Dakota winter use, so I ordered a 6-pack of these to give extras to friends. It is the IDENTICAL scraper from 30 years ago--soft brass blade does not scratch glass (unless you have some kind of film on the glass--probably wouldn't recommend using it inside the car glass if you have an instrument display that illuminates info to the glass). These are the best--way better than the plastic-edged junk out there that slides over the surface of ice-coated glass--these scrape ice right off!
