This works amazing also used with a monthly treatment
Ok I will 100% get this again I have it to all my cats and the fleas died immediately I also spoke to the vet prior to giving this to my cats Because I wanted to make sure it’s safe. The vet said Yes it works amazing BUT itit doesn’t last long and she advised My to give them that and put a monthly flea medication on There necks. So the fleas have been horrible the last few years So I’m making sure I nip it in The but fast. I’ll be buying this for my dogs too with the mommy medication. I held one of my cats not even 5 minutes after giving him the pill and the neck medication and fleas were just falling off dying. I recommend this product and will use again I also gave it to them with food I just think on a empty stomach it could make them sick I got a couple cans of wet food and no problems

It works you'll be shocked
I was shocked and amazed. It's been a bad start of the year in Kansas with the rainfall and heat. Fleas are going crazy. I have an older 17+ year old cat that is an indoor only cat so the fleas must have come in on us from yard work. I thought I had them all under control giving him shampoos, sprays, rubdowns, combings, house sprays so I didn't expect to see any after giving him this pill. Just like what the product said in 30 min. fleas started to drop. I placed a white towel where ever he laid just to watch. I counted 14 little snots. Some were extremely small I can see why they were missed but they were dead. I'm glad this product was safe and my cat had no side effects. I am waiting another week to do it again just to make sure and to keep up with them.

Works quickly to remove stubborn fleas!
My dog must have brought fleas in and gave them to our indoor cat. We tried Frontline, bathing, sprays…nothing worked. A neighbor of mine, who once owned a veterinary clinic recommended Capstar for both the cat and dog. It worked within an hour or so we were able to see the fleas walking on the outside of his fur. They were clearly affected by the dose. We collected a few and within 30 minutes they were all dead. I don’t use any flea or tick medication on my animals. So I was concerned about side effects. I did not witness any side effects from either the cat or dog. I would recommend this product to anyone who is frustrated by persistent fleas, but is also trying to avoid going to the vet.

Weird Package
the box came in squished which had me worried for the pill but they all are okay my cat isnt a fan of any type of medicine and never eats it i try to mix it with wet food i did read the bad reviews which made me panic so i break one pill in half and give her the piece by making her swallow it shes about a year old or more and is okay in fact she still runs and plays as usual no loss of fur or odd behavior so far in a week or two i will try the full pill and come back to this

Turned out to be a miracle for my kitty
I was very doubtful about pills, but I got to the point when nothing else worked (topical, shampoo, combing, flea traps) and my kitty was going crazy scratching and biting herself, even bleeding from biting. This pill was truly a miracle and did start working fast. We also did extra vacuuming and cleaning. My kitty is no longer hiding in closets but calmly laying either on a carpet or next to window, being able to sleep and relax.

It works on adult flees only
Looks like it's working. My cat might be allergic to flees. She doesn't tolerate topical flee and tick poison. For all the people worh bad reviews: this poison is safer than monthly vet poison. It has downsides - only lasts few hours, only kills adult flees, can cause side effects. Good thing is - if your cat has side effects, they will resolve in few hours. So if you don't know life cycle of the flees, you might want to look it up. Nitenpyram is effective, kills many insects including cockroaches and mosquitoes. It kills mites too btw. But it doesn't last long.

THEY WORK
I would have given a 5-STAR if not for being ripped off. These work great, BUT, I ordered a 2-pak and only received "1" box...was charged $64 for 6 pills instead of 12!!! I wrote to the seller, NO RESPONSE & thete's nowhere to ask for help. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN MY PURCHASE!!The product is really useful though & they do kill fleas right away. If you use these along with treating your lawn with triazicide you'll rid yourself of fleas for a year. We give a pill every other day for at least a week or so. I have 7 cats and not one of them has ever had an adverse reaction to the CapStar pill.

Definitely works!
Holy moly, does this product work!I used it on both my cats and set them in their carriers for the half hour and this is what I saw for one of them. Totally pleased!Only problem I had was with my other cat because he didn’t eat the pill at first until I gave him a puree tube and he ate it up.Definitely recommend!
