Huazu Ignition Key Switch for Car, Forklift, Truck, Tractor, Trailer - Universal 4-Position Starter Switch (Acc/Off/IGN/Start)

My John Deere 310A Backhoe Tractor has a 3-position key ignition on the back. It uses a separate push-button to start. I got rid of the push button and use this key instead. This has 4 positions on the back and the starter goes in the middle that's when you turn your key to the right and it automatically pulls back after starting the engine. It comes with 2 keys. It looks cheap but it starts up fast every time. For the price, it's very affordable.

This worked great for my old tractor. Make sure to terminate ignition wire to the acc pole on the switch so that the alternator doesn't backfeed voltage to the ignition when the key is turned off. This eliminates the need for a diode on the alternator wire.Shipping was fast and I had a good experience with the seller.

I used this to convert a piece of construction equipment from push button start to key start. It worked well for that purpose but I did have to drill the hole a little bigger for the key switch. The switch was a little "sticky" at first but after a few cycles it is smooth and works well now. The "PAL" nut that adjusts the switch protrusion in and out isn't the most sturdy but works if you don't overtighten the outside nut when securing the switch in the panel. If you overtighten the outside nut the PAL nut will fail.

Easy to install and works like it’s supposed to.

Used in my car for a 4 days and the housing separated and then it was useless.

I would suggest the following:- lubricate the barrel and do not overtighten, you pay for what you get quality wise, it is cheap but functional.
