Worth the money; no need for the more expensive brand
This product was money well spent. I purchased it to teach my 13-month old how to drink out of a straw and within about 20 minutes, he had it mastered. I'm annoyed I didn't think of something like this myself! There is another brand on here that retails for almost double the price. I have no idea bout the efficacy of that product, but this one works. Yes, it is just a cheap-looking honey bear and some plastic straws but there is no air leak- so if you squeeze the bear's tummy, the liquid comes up, and the child will theoretically learn how to use a straw. I know this has indications for special-needs children as well, but I cannot speak to that aspect of it. Speech language pathologists recommend transitioning from bottle to open cup or straw after age 1. We had purchased multiple cups with straws but he just wasn't grasping the concept until we got the honey bear. Now he can utilize all of those cups (literally overnight). Also wanted to mention- it is not leak proof but so far leakage has been minimal, and only when the bear is flung around the room- as toddlers do.

Great product
This product worked great for my son when he was 12 months old and visiting a feeding therapist. This product allowed my son to learn how to suck after his tongue and lip tie surgery. Love that it comes with extra straws, but be aware that the inside can get permanently stained from juices.

Best first straw cup to transition to.
My son took to this straw cup right away. We used this to help him learn to drink milk from a straw cup and to transition away from bottle. The straw is firm and better for speech development.

Leaked and the top broke off
Leaked fairly easily, and the top broke off creating a sharp edge

It works!!
I was hesitant to buy because I think it’s kind of expensive for just a plastic bottle, but I would totally buy all over again! We were having a hard time getting our just turned 2 year old off the bottle and this worked within two days! 100% recommend!!!

Straw does not fit
The straw is useless. It does not fit through the top of the cap. The cap is exactly like the cap on a honey bear. The straw that you receive does not fit through the top. It also does not attach to the small piece at the top of the cap. The cup is useless. I contacted the seller with no results.

We have purchased better quality sippy cups for half the price
The product is too expensive for what it does. We have purchased better quality sippy cups for half the price. This did not make any difference to how our son consumed liquids
